I'm pretty sure it can be done. Unless you know (or don't know) something. I just find it odd and never heard of it to be a problem on any Android.

I ended up going with the redmi since there are custom ROMs and it was slightly cheaper for me to get on eBay (USA). It depends how much you care about 90hz and whether you like MIUI or Realme UI better.
