Most used apps are browsers. Almost all websites are white.
And oled uses same amount of power compared to LCD when it displays blue, green, red , yellow etc .....
So, unless you have black on screen, oled wont be saving power.

Mr. Anonymous, 11 Apr 2020I've had lag spikes on snapdragon SoCs as well.You forgot to mention the heat issue with most of snapdragon processors. until this day I still couldn't forgive Qualcomm for the Snapdragon 810 and How it tried to cover the fact it was getting hot and ruined a lot of flagships at that year.

Except battery endurance, rest of the phone is bad.
CPU allows video 2K30 and FHD60, only FHD30 available.
Gorilla 3 must be from 2012 or 2013.

Amoled saved more battery compare to IPS. In IPS picture quality look natural where in Amoled extra added colors. Better wait for youtube videos of battery test, don't judge too quickly.

2-LCD can have good battery life as Amoled.
3-budget and midrange devices offer more than its price suggest.

The A3 uses stock Android while the Note 8 uses MIUI and MIUI is known to aggressively conserve battery. OLED panels by design are more efficient than LCD panels because they don't require a backlight while LCD does.
