I do not game on a phone so for me this ample ram. I think you wont have problem gaming on this device CPU and GPU and technically most of the heavy lifting will be done by the GPU in gaming. So most of the time you are not going have any serious issues. If possible get the 6GB if you are heavy gamer but also uses a phone for atleast 4 years. If you are going to change phones every few years just the get 4GB.

Steezy, 28 Sep 2020Guys please help me out my redmi note 9s doesnt fast charge anymore i plug if overnight and st... moreBackup all your data to SD card and remove it.
Download the latest Os for your device.
Install via PC, check youtube on tutorials.
I think your Os is corrupted after OTA updates.
If a novice at installing from Pc, then back up data to SD and remove it. Delete all cache and data from the phone. Boot in recovery mode and delete davlik cache and then finally reset to factory settings. This will wipe all data from the phone and restore it to the state it was when just bought. This should recalibrate battery and remove Os corrupted files. Also remove any bloatware.
Taikutsu, 25 Oct 2020My redmi note 9s has only 48gb it must be 64gb not 48gb. Does anyone has the same issue as mine? The android Os from Google coupled with Xiaomi own miui skin and added preinstalled apps take up lot of space of 64gb rom. Having 48GB left is normal, this is not an indication of a faulty device it is however and indication of bloated this Android Os's are becoming year by year. I recommend uninstalling preinstalled crapware you never use, use facebook lite over standard facebook. Test lite versions of different apps that take up less space but gets the job done. Use a SD for external storage of pics and videos, however let the camera initially store photos and videos straight to internal and then move them to external storage at later date. As the internal storage writes data far faster than SD card so camera works better but later use SD to store only.

If you got it from authorized Xiaomi seller in your region then claim warranty.
If you bought it from Online store and failed to check if the model you were buying uses the same cellular network frequencies as your region then its your problem.

If you can afford it get it. Also xiaomi miui seems highly resource hungry and most like all the useless dazzling crap to entertain themselves so get 6GB. Because if youre the guy that needs the standard Facebook because its from official facebook over facebook lite then you better get 6GB.
