I have been reading GSMarena articles since 2001 regularly. Though battery endurance part has been introduced much later, I always had/have to take the endurances with a pinch of salt due to my experience.
For example:
If in GSMarena's review, the total battery endurance of device A is higher(or significantly higher) than device B, we generally can think that if anyone buys those two devices, based on the same person's usage pattern and similar settings(as much as possible) and same apps installed on both devices, the overall endurance of device A should be greater than B or atleast similar bcoz GSMarena "said so".
In most smartphones in my usage, this has never been this case. In fact, several times, I found way more battery endurances of device B than A on similar usage pattern, apps installed and similar settings.

Not yet, but OnePlus are expected to introduce this feature at some point soon.
Should you be in desperation for 'Glance Screen', you can have this poached feature, originally from Windows Phone/Windows 10 Mobile years ago, right now should you be willing to purchase my exquisite pristine Lumia 950 XL.
'Glance Screen' is the Nokia/Microsoft Lumia name for what is otherwise known as 'always-on display'.

Nightmare101, 29 Apr 2020Seriously, where is the speaker and audio tests section? The folks at GSMarena are evidently not connoisseurs of sound.
At any rate, I'm not interested in subjective sound quality (because to a degree we all think we are somehow audiophile experts), but rather seek a professional take on the sound output, often requiring the use of an anechoic chamber.

The converse is actually true. The sanctions imposed by Trump on Huawei have allowed their phones to be positively discriminated from amongst the plethora of similar and often undistinguishable Android phones. The benefit of being devoid of Google apps and GMS (Google Mobile Services) allow for zero data-harvesting from Google.
Thus there are only advantages to be secluded from the long reach of Google. App downloads may still be performed directly from the Play Store via a browser with a bit of know-how, without needing the Play Store or Play Services big-brother apps.
The only problem with Huawei's phones is that the bootloader is locked - and that's no trivial issue.
For that reason, the OnePlus 8 Pro puts itself in contention as one of the most noteworthy phone available in 2020 (Samsung's Galaxy S20 Series fails to inspire outside of US/South Korea with its Exynos SoC, thereby deselecting itself from the must-haves in 2020).

Moreover, the benchmarks stand in favour of OnePlus 8, though have not included in here, but in OnePlus 8's review there are all these benchmarks.

As S20 + uses exynos 990 compared to snapdragon 865. But if you don't care about 5g then go oneplus 7t or oneplus 7 pro either chip set still beat exynos 990.

Frankly having already used a OnePlus I can tell you that it manufactures smartphones of very good quality and for those who do not know OnePlus their oxygen OS software overlay is simply the best overlay is something inexplicable but it is very pleasant to use, the OnePlus smartphones very fast and they are the best for the updates that requested more 120 hertz screen and especially 10 bits quad HD really the ultimate without forgetting the only Android smartphone to have a cursor on the Apple way side to close the volume or be in undisturbed mode, try it is to adopt it and not do without it
