They totally messed up with the pricing.
I agree OP8 pro is a much better buy.

Yes I have read the two reviews pretty thoroughly hence my comments, not only about the score but also about the two phones performance. I truly appreciate your reviews and they have helped me in my three previous purchases. Now I am a bit confused choosing between a high end phone vs midrange.

Peter Ph, 06 May 2020Good features but Ugliest back design. So sad! Xiaomi never level up! What are you talking about hehehe Xiaomi is 3rd place already on sales (up even to Huawei) and in Spain for example, is better sold than Samsung and Apple, nobody cares about the prettie look, if you have good price and specs

asvaberg, 07 May 2020Hi GSMArena. As far as I can see, you rate this phone (score) a fraction lower than MI Note... moreSince the question of rating has come up a few times in this comment section, let me just note that boiling-down an in-depth review, which takes our team days of dedication and hard work into a single number is always going to be imperfect, at best. While we have a very thorough system of individual scores and categories that ultimately make up every score, subtle details and differences understandably get lost in the final math. A phone will score lower in one category, then higher in another. Hence, we sincerely hope that you take the time to read the actual review or watch our review video, instead of just relying on a score.

What about pixel size.... Gsmarena shows different pixel size.. And official mi website show different pixel size
Amir , 07 May 2020Missing of (1080 960 fps) in mi 10 was a terrible mistake SD865 by default supports 960fps recording without the need of DRAM.
Anonymous, 06 May 2020It has weak 2x-3x telephoto. This sensor is newer but that doesn't make it better sony's imx586 48mp sensor. Mi phones always produce over exposed pics no matter what. Their is point of having a newer sensor if your image processing is a shit.
Syuser, 06 May 2020At that time yes that was the point. This processing is the same at that time on Sony on a few... moreThe point is that Sony phones of the past produced far noisier skies. This phone has a much bigger sensor than the old Sony phones. Given the same megapixel count, how can a small sensor produce less noisy images than a large sensor?
Here is the Z1 review to jot your memory:
Look at how bad the skies are rendered.
BrendonF, 06 May 2020Its there on the Indian website of Xiaomi. Except on the website from their country of origin, they don't put 5G.
As far as I can see, you rate this phone (score) a fraction lower than MI Note 10 (4,2points). Even though the processor in 10 Pro is far better than in the Note 10.
On the other side, the Note 10 has 3,5mm jack, bigger battery and penta-cam on the back.
When I compare PHOTO on GSMArena between the two models, the MI Note 10 seemes to have better quality all over; good liht and low light.
Any comments on this, GSMArena?
Am I the only one who sees no difference in exposure between 108MP and 27MP mode I mean the pixel size on fomer is very small and latter is twic the big so I was expecting a big difference between them
Anonymous, 06 May 2020Lmao, forgot x50 pro, priced under 40K with proper telephoto. It has weak 2x-3x telephoto. It crops from Main sensor at night which is IMX 586(much inferior sensor compared to HMX sensor on Mi 10)
Similar quality shots can be achieved cropping from the 108mp sensor.
So there is no need for useless 2x-3x telephoto lens.
If it was sporting 5x optical zoom, it would have been considered an advantage in zoom department.
Besides most of the other phones in that price range like IQOO & OnePlus 8 are using last year's IMX 586 sensor, so the MI 10 has a huge advantage in that department.
The main Camera alone gives it a huge advantage over other budget flagships making this the budget flagship of the year as rest of the specs are comparable.
