This is a small phone for people who like small phones. If you want phones with gigantic screens they are available for you. So please let the small phone lovers enjoy it in peace. Hopefully one of the many android makers can make a better 4.7 inch screen phone that has a more compact form factor and maybe even more compact pricing.

-Would like to make a switch to Apple ecosystem but can't pay $1000+ to get an iPhone 11 Pro
-Needs a compact and long lasting device for their kids whose friends also use iDevices
-Wants to replace their old iPhones (8, 7, 6s, 6, 5s) but hate modern phone's form factor
-is an Android user but needs iDevice for some reasons e.g. App testing, for work"

No average user, Apple or Android wants to downgrade to 4.7 inch screen.
This is a niche device which will only be preferred by people who want smaller compact phones. Majority of the users aren't going to sacrifice the big screen real estate.

You (or anybody else) won't need that absolute power to perform daily, common tasks. IMHO the "newest" iPhone SE it's just for show, just to demonstrate others you have the most powerful chipset on Earth built on a 4 years old phone. Has no logic behind. Absolute power must come with right features if you want to harness it properly: bigger screen, higher DPI, longer battery life etc. Let me put another example: could you properly and happily do your job on a latest state of the art iMac or Mac Pro with a 10" screen? I guess not.

One of my phone which I bought 10 years ago has 4.8 inch screen. This new iphone is 10 years behind the rivals LOL

The specs that saved the ip11 pro lineup were the battery and the cameras, the things that people are mostly looking for. This device has none of it.

this phone is meant to be small .. So what's the problem with the 4.7 inch display ?? yes it is hd , but iphone guys are okay with that ! but with that 4k capable camera they should have equipped a better screen and atleast 2500mah battery. battery life is the primary concern of many customers. Sadly the battery life Reaallllllyyyyy Baaaad .

Whining "BuT hD LcD dIsPlAY iS No gOoD in 2020" is pointless. The target demographic of iPhone SE won't give a damn, it's sharp enough when viewed from normal viewing distance. The same goes for the battery size and a single camera, people who are looking for this kind of product couldn't care less those stuffs as they won't spend their entire day playing 3D games or shooting photos. The camera is decent enough for casual shooting and the battery lasts a day with light to medium usage.
They just want a tiny iPhone that is affordable, durable and lasts for next 3 and 4 years, which it will if they replace the battery once or twice in its lifespan.. You don't find it attractive? Just shut up and walk away.

The four stars don't do this justice. This is the most revolutionary mid-ranger since the Nexus 5, and one of the most interesting offerings that ever came from Apple. Many from the Android crowd will be lured over to the Apple ecosystem due to this, especially as Android is at its worst. Sure, everyone is commenting on the bezels - if it wasn't for them this would likely be the best value smartphone in history and it would really cannibalize iPhone 11 sales, as it's otherwise a very similar phone.

GSM arena reviewed this phone as a flagship and that’s not what it is, for it’s category, except in screen size, resolution and battery capacity, this phone is practically unmatched. Sometimes I wished people said the truth especially when it’s staring right in their face
