pan, 02 Sep 2020might not be a good idea for burst mode of xperia... it takes time to read a 64mp even with dram...Possibly if you want burst mode in native 64MP resolution. But if Sony go for pixel-binned 16MP resolution only, I don't think that would be a problem.

"You do get the option for intermediate zoom levels, but they come by digitally zooming in from the nearest wider angle cam - so the 50mm equivalent, for example, is captured by the main 24mm cam with no input from the others."

I began to think that a high megapixel sensor like 48MP or 64MP with lossless zoom for the primary main camera would make much more sense than a single native megapixel. Digital zooming has never been a great solution in the first place. We learned that with the Nokia 808 PureView and also the Nokia Lumia 1020 from 2012 and 2013 respectively - crop zoom works.

I just listened a few songs for the first time using dynamic vibration. It was perfect. Especially on TIDAL.

For starters, listen to this song on Xperia 1 or Xperia 1 II
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU-VTxg2pxw

I don't understand the hate for dynamic vibration. Of course it does play out of sync for talking videos or movies or any other typical songs. But it syncs perfect especially for the songs like EDM where you actually find uplifted beat. For the first time I'm using it and I'm loving it.

PS: I just also noticed that when you turn off the screen and listen to songs, dynamic vibration automatically turns off. Then the moment I turn on the screen, bam dynamic vibration starts. These are the minor details I really love from Sony.

For example during MCOC gaming, when I move towards right, attacking sound comes from right and when I move towards left, attacking sound comes from left. Front facing speakers gives you that immersive effect.

2. Kindle works fine, fills entire screen. From Xodo I don't know what you want exactly. It depends on PDF document size type, A4 size can never fulfill 21:9 aspect ratio perfectly whether in vertical or horizontal.

PS: Games I play most are CODM, Asphalt, MCOC and PUBG. I've no problems with these games. They perfectly fit 21:9 and tbh better than other aspect ratio.

1. Would you download and test the game Arena of Valor? I've read that they made agreements with Tencent so that this game utilizes the full screen with no black bars and also I would like to know how the sound is on those stereo speakers?

2. Would you download the app Kindle or Xodo and try to read and ebook or PDF horizontally and tell me how it works?

If you could test these 2 things for me I would be so happy.

AnonD-947580, 29 Jul 2020Sounds great. Would you buy the phone (used) for 940 dollars? I have that oppertunity now.I'm already using it. I bought it for 1200 Euros with WH-1000XM3 headphones (Technically 930 Euros for the device). I find it is very great deal. For 930 Euros, Xperia 1 II is miles better compared to other flagships like OP8 Pro. If you know what you're getting it, then you will be in heaven. This is really really fast in day to day usage.

Stereo speakers are the best I've experienced so far. That's from my experience.

They can't say anything more about it's condition (no info on condition, if it has been repaired, if all the equipment is there) but you still have the 14 days return policy so I could just return it if I'm not happy with it.

How is the display and stereo speakers? I read that the display reverts back to full HD - is that true? If so that's a disappointment for me. I thought my wallpaper would be 4K-pinsharp too.

What's the new price in your area? If the used one is in immaculate condition, it might be an alright price, but the smallest scratch and I wouldn't consider it for $940

There is a store that sells it used for 940$, delivery included. Is that a good deal and will the phone be fine for me even though I'm not a pro photographer? I'm more of a point and shoot type of person. I could learn a little about it but I prefer to not dive too deep into all these settings.

I just want a phone that takes great photos and play games and ebooks well. I'm in love with the design of the phone and the nice, sharp display.

Can someone please advise me, thank you.
