As a matter of fact, the smartphone doesn't even available yet and pretty sure u guys don't own it and probably never will. It's so astonishing too see so many people doing math and research on brands they hate🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 is it intimidation? Then why you guys here bashing everything about sony?

Superb unique phone, awesome design, super cam specs and what i love the most is proper screen with no dead pixels. Its hard to find a beautifull screen. If Xperia 5 mark II comes in smaller version and all above stays the same i'll go for 5 mark II, if not, then Xperia 1 mark II.
It's time for me to change. Huawei user. :P

Anonymous, 31 May 2020The problem is Glass sandwich design these days. All that IP68 rating is rendered useless on ... moreNot only that but adhesive they use to glue the back panel and screen hardens as the time goes on and guess what your phone is not water resistant anymore. That was the famous case of iPhone X

to the moment i see nothing that a software update cannot cure. not to mention the manual controls and a little bit of post processing :). my gripe is with the size and price, but as seems 5II will keep same camera setup in a smaller body with a 5.8" or 6.1" screen ("rumours...) but at the expense of the battery size..., and a smaller price ( -some 16% with vat deduction if buying it for the company... :) ), well....

Looks like I'll replace my RoG Phone 2 with the future Xperia 1 Mark III. This phone got it right but I obviously think that the 3rd version will be way better.

Since Sony Mobile's no more in the Philippines, I hope the grey market would care to get that next year.

It is released in Japan and it doesn't do any good for gsmarena. They are doing there review on the test unit of xperia 1 and not the final sale unit which is available in Japan.

I am tempted to buy one, as I have been waiting for this. but, honestly, I want to pro version because of the hdi port. If I were Sony, I would hold off on releasing the Pro version until next year when they have supply and can add the 875 chipset. after all, we are half way through 2020 anyway.
