Find X2 screen are definitely not rubbish, neither Xperia 1ii. Both got it strong and weak points. It depends on what user needs either for gaming, movies etc. Dont desperately ask people to trash other brand around when people got own preferences.

Also not quite sure how you calculated March 2021 for Android 11 for me. I am not mega crazy about big OS upgrades I do get small updates every month now.

You could said that if it's first gen on Z5 Premium. It's better for them to improve the 4K availability, and if they stripped down the screen to QHD+/3K like most OEMs have done, Sony would have committed sacrilegious again after removing 3.5mm back in XZ2. It's like removing S-Pen from Galaxy Note series and putting a notch or punch-hole in Xiaomi Mi Mix and Vivo NEX series...

All major features on it seems to be left out, which should be properly reviewed as its the main core of the Xperia 1ii. No detailing on Cinema Pro, Photo Pro, the highly advertised 20fps AF/AE, comparison with other brand.
The main Auto camera app definitely improve in quality compare to its predecessor, but i think this Xperia are more than that. About the late properly firmware update are blame to Sony, as they have plenty of time already. There is still no RAW support. But still, I'll choose this over Find X2 Pro.

Everyone can tell Dynamic vibration is unnecessary and stupid even 3IQ Sony fan boy see that. But you're telling me that no others manufacturers will try to improve the cpu performance along with heat reduction in cpu and battery when used while plugged in (Which people do a lot) like they did in laptop. Amusing

Why is all the reviews same......
Sony said their camera is fast.......not good with computational photography like the other bunch.
There is no review of the fast shuttle speed or other goodies except from you mentioning it just in the start......
If you reviewers praise S20 and mate series for their high res by cropping and showing, take time to look at the features others phones have THAT ARE NOT COPY OR FOLLOWING TREND.

Source? Did OnePlus/Oppo specifically say that like Sony did when they announced Xperia 1?
And as for the display colour accuracy, I'll wait for XDA and Anandtech to release their own independent in-depth analysis on Xperia 1 II's panel. I don't swallow what phone companies want us to believe.

Good review, it seems that Sony managed to get most of the stuffs right this times around and finally made a competent flagship that rivals others. Crisp display with good colour accuracy (albeit requires manual calibration), flagship-grade speakers, a competent array of cameras with great manual control. It's very disappointing that after all the wait they still haven't managed to get the firmware optimisation right to be suitable for a battery life test, though.
This phone is in my wishlist but I wish Sony released phone this sooner internationally. It hasn't been announced in where I live and so far my mind is leaning towards Find X2 Pro.
