I have this device from abrout 2 weeks. In a few words: it works perfect for me. The only cons I saw is that 4k60fps or 8K video is limited to 8 minutes and 21:9 cinema video mode really records in 16:9, but top and bottom is just dark. It is the smartphone worth to buy!

i decided to buy it today blue 8/256, even tho i dont like pop up camera, but the rest is great phone for its price
actually its smaller dimensions compare my previous redmi note 9 pro, its feel more comfortable to hold the poco f2

There are two misconceptions that creat... moreExactly. People just want everything without wanting to pay more, yet calling the cheaper product that has cut corners is inferior to those more expensive one.
In the most sensible comparison, I only see this Poco F2 Pro is lacking Micro SD expansion slot.
The rest are actually cutting the right corners for what it is. I owned the 8GB/256GB version which sold around $515 at my country without the free gift gaming fans. It is simply the flagship killer of the year.
Thought, this phone is not for everyone as it's size is falling to the Note kind, or the Plus variant, for phablet size, which is not for small hand.

This must be the most underrated phone in the market!
There are two misconceptions that create negative impressions.
The one is that it feels slower than inferior 90hz phones like the 1+ nord and the other is that it is not it is not a bargain anymore, as it's quite as expensive as the poco F1.
Only if you can afford and owned a more expensive which had 90hz you can really appreciate the package the F2 has to offer.
I owned a 1+ 7pro before and I'm telling you, 90 and 120hz are gimmicks. What the eye can really see is fps, having 120hz and still render UI, and games at 30fps is just stupid. Some ppl that paid for it are just trying too hard to convince themselves. It's like a QHD display that can offer 500+ ppi, vs a 1080p display that offers 400+ppi, the eye can barely tell the difference between 400 and 500ppi and there hardly is any content taking advantage of it anyway. However taxing the GPU 4 times as much and draining all that battery makes a real impact that can be felt by all.
So this is where this phone focuses, raw power, speed and battery endurance. And it's a champion there.
Cameras are extremely overrated and the main reason flagships went past 1000 euros, but not everywhere is in need of so many and expensive cameras, yet we do want our phone to be as fast as it gets and readily available for heavy use and enough battery to support it!

Add display PWM tests with DC dimming on and off.
Why you call OLED a superior technology, when it burns in, makes eyes bleed and gives weird colours, especially with DC dimming? boo hoo, but the blacks are deep! smh

Drue, 19 Jun 2020Please also mention that Poco is a Global version of K series which is in China ROM version.Lol, that information still doesn't change the fact that only the F1 was the phone under Poco that they can call their own, Xiaomi has even rebranded it as Pocophone for Global. Now the problem with the current state of Poco is that they only exist just to be a "Global rebrand" of Redmi and that's totally different from what Poco F1 has been, the current state now is worse if they continue doing so.
