Nick Tagataka, 15 Jun 2020Sorry but I don't really understand what you're trying to say with your second sentence.Mr. Anonymous is under the impression that replacing the traditional earpiece speaker with an electromagnetic levitation speaker will make phone calls public and audible to everybody around!

The fact they put so much effort on sound input (microphone) but not output (speakers & wired audio) just seems so contradictory to me, and as a person who frequently uses the internal speakers when watching Youtube videos on my phone, I would definitely appreciate richer sound coming out of them. Not to mention that this thing costs freaking $1400.

          - Dont care much. More onto earphone quality, which sufficient with Dolby Atmos.

          'cannot use GMS'
          - Yes u can, with 15min sideloading installation.

'lower than snapdragon865 Devices (no match for Iphone 11)'
          - Only in benchmark specsheet, no different in real-life usage.

          'Only the camera is excellent'
          - + 40w both wired & wireless charge, and camera is the most crucial parts for a flagship, which P40 excel.

'If I just need a camera, I'll buy a DSLR'
          - Good luck fitting your DSLR in your pocket.

sold my s10 and bought a p40 pro after being with samsung for 10 years.
Best decision ever, i got so tired of s10`s shitty fingerprint sensor that is present on s20 series too , battery was pretty bad on s10 exinos crap too.
The fingerprint and face recognition is miles above my s10 and the camera blows me away especially in the dark.
Took me 15 mins to install google and have all of my favorite google apps.
              ZERO regrets .
I'm the type of guy who usually changes his phone every 2 years but i was so close to rage break my s10 because of fingerprint failling me on important situations that i couldn't stand it anymore.
Let's see in 2 years what each will have to offer but i have a feeling samsung won't convince me to come back to their overpriced crap.

for online taxi driver very very dependent to Google Maps.
So huawei and honor are dead for every people with online delivery job.
Only less people know how to hack and reboot Google into new huawei phone.

mandalaphone, 12 Jun 2020Paying or not depends on your priorities. I'm not a brand follower and I won't defend Huawei's... moreHey thanks, very few like yours I found Here.
Number one pricing doesn't matter for me if it's worth. But I've mentioned why it's not worth, it's not only GMS. Speaker, ugly cutout and I don't understand this cutout. If you want to house Good Hardware they can use a small bezel, but they want innovation :)

Second I never said I can't live without GMS, Im talking in general that more than 70% Android users don't feel it friendly and it's truth.

Third thing I said of someone will come up with solid base not in terms of completeness, but their base usage must be solid. We ditched Microsoft in early 2005 and adopted Linux in our office, but before adopting it we have gone through some basic tests and determined how easy it would be to transform complete development on Linux. So, it's not that I stick with what is their but I personally don't see any easy transformation from GMS to Huawei Store.

And in last may be I'm wrong but as per my experience as a developer and how technology is moving ahead, I'm not seeing any competition to these tech giants in near future. Creating and maintaining application for new platform or play service is in current era is not acceptable for most of the businesses. Acceptence in normal user For new platform needs lots of publicity and then give them a completeness. And this acceptence leads to innovation and success to any innovation.

May be still you think that I'm negative, but 20 years in development teach me if you see something more positively more the chances of logical bugs arise in system. So it's me may be I'm not too positive but what I am thinking is right.

Let's see what is there in a future.

I still don't get why the Mate 30 Pro still takes way more refined pictures than any other newer Huawei flagships, but reviewers all claim that the newer ones are king or such.

Li ion and Li polymer batteries must neither be fully charged nor discharged. The recommended charge for storage is around 40_50%. Below 25% might damage the cell as well. One should exclusively use the charger provided by the manufacturer. The charging process is actually software controlled and has some engineering behind it. This is the reason why many new phones turn on while charging. On old phones one could simply turn off the phone and charge it to obtain the fastest possible results with the least wear. Current phones turn on to allow the software to control the charging process, which is charge and capacity dependent.
Enjoy your fast charging without second thoughts.
