Anonymous, 19 Jun 2020That's just your bias speaking. The lab tests here do not support your claim.TBH, average consumer doesn't really know what is a calibrated screen. Most will be shocked by how warm a calibrated screen will look compare to the default, heck most don't even know what is sRGB.

Ugly gas burner design with poor quality sapphire lens on back.
People buy it coz they have no other choice in terms of design or aesthetics.

this problem is reported with curved displays only, thats why some people prefer Apple because its display has similar side and bottom bezels which is what is aesthetic, not curved, narrower sides=harder to hold and use, unless you hold with a hand and use another which is not what most people do.

Does this phone come with a pre-installed screen protector?
As usual, a very thorough review. Looks like the Redmi 10X 5G will complicate matters with a faster SOC, telephoto capabilities, 5G and an equivalent, of not lower, price. I can't wait to see the team's review of that phone.

I received my Mi Note 10 Lite on 11th of June 2020. I have requested a refund yesterday. The volume UP button has stopped working. I read reviews about the build quality being very good. Therefore, I fail to understand how bad could it be for the button to fail in less than a week. Prior to this, I used a umidigi F1 for more than a year. Apart from freezing issues every 10 minutes, the umdigi phone seemed to have better build quality.

"With inferior aesthetic, the manufacturer better hope they are like Apple." - LOL, so, is it OK to manufacture worse products if they have better appearance? I don't think so.
I said aesthetics is not important for consumer electronics, not in general. Though in any other area sacrificing convenience for aesthetics is just horrible.

With inferior aesthetic, the manufacturer better hope they are like Apple. Most people buy apple becos of the ecosystem, and they pretty much are out of choice.
Saying aesthetic is useless is as good as saying all the artist, fashion designer and phone designer are a waste of resources. If you are too plain to understand that
