Missing 4K@60fps, deal braker for me.
I was planning on getting it but no.
Can understand the reason not to include this feature as the processor can do it.
poco f2 eats this stupid phone... what a failure from oneplus
Camera is much better in respect of its competition and overall better phone. Not value for bucks. But yes, now if you're fan of PUBG you should look away from the phone cuz its Gaming performance is poor. But if you want true smartphone experience with smooth UI you're at right spot.
The camera performance is bad, even in your samples. How is that excellent?
It's still a better deal than any other smartphone in the range.
Its future proof can use for 3 to 4 years and regarding 5g connectivity Jio is planning to bring it around 1.5 years in India
"Currently, you can get the OnePlus Nord in either a single nanoSIM or a dual nanoSIM configuration. The dual SIM model allows two simultaneous LTE connections only and 5G + 4G standby is coming in a future OTA update."
So it's a 5G phone that doesn't support 5G if you have 2 Sims in it..? Why?
Missing a "a headphone jack, a metal frame."
In my country the Nord (765, ufs2.1, Ddr4) costs 450euros and poco F2 (865,ufs3.1, Ddr5) costs less than 400euros
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2020Poco f2 pro and realme x3 superzoom are much betterWould never touch a 60hz display again, after using 90hz.
Poco F2 at 362 Euro is the clear winner here..
"In comparison, both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 7T got 16MP ultrawides. That being said, none of these sensors is truly powerful in any way, all of them lacking fancy features, like autofocus."
This is wrong, OnePlus 7T has autofocus on the ultra wide and can use it as a high resolution macro sensor unlike 8 and Nord.

What? 855+ is now old? It's probably 3rd or 4th fastest chip around. Nearly double as fast as 765G. Sure you can't experience that in general UI and stuff. But gaming? You definitely get more than twice fps in games like PUBG.
MrDong, 11 Aug 2020I thought the GSMA rating of the Nord would beat the iPhone SE (because it has way more featur... moreNo need to install custom ROM.
Just root and remove.
Non rooted users can simply disable the app.
"The algorithm first goes through the standard binning process to get a regular 12MP photo, then crops a 2x zoom from that and upscales it to 12MP as a final step."
What was the matter with a simple lossless zoom technique? That proves to be a much more superior technique instead of upscaling a cropped zoom photo.
so many consumers are already complained about screen tint issues, poor battery life and mediocre cameras
if they put a realme logo instead of op
this device would be cheaper than K20 pro
gimmicky device 👎
Dometalican, 11 Aug 2020Who said we condone the $1,000 Note 20 with bad specs? NOBODY here condones Samsung for that..... moreMoto G SUCKS and looks and feels cheap ..well because it is.In every way that phone is a joke
I thought the GSMA rating of the Nord would beat the iPhone SE (because it has way more features) but....
Just shows the iPhone SE is better. Also the Poco F2 Pro. I expect higher for the Poco since it retails cheaper in Asia.
Let's say the ratings aren't true. Well, the Nord's camera performance turns out to be underwhelming and its plastic frame is weak. Cam performance also applies to 8 and 8 Pro as well.
Not to mention FB bloatware that OnePlus has promised not to install anything on its stock OS. Average consumer won't know how to install custom ROM.
Biggest competitor for this device is Mi 10 lite 5g, which is 120€ cheaper, and can be found for 280€ in 6/64 gb configuration.
What about the benchmark comparison against the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, Motorola Edge or LG Velvet ??? Those are real contenders in the mid-range segment.
