I admit it's disappointing to see only minor improvements over the 3a, but the a series phones check all the major boxes the average person needs for less than half the price of a flagship.
How is affordability and functionality that rivals much more expensive phones overrated?

Not much of an upgrade compared to the 3a? What are you talking about? 6 gb of ddr4x ram and 128 gb of UFS 2.1 are a great improvement! And the screen is a lot brighter too! As an owner of a 3a I can say that those 3 are more than enough motivation to upgrade to the 4a. And it's $50 less too! So I'm definitely going for it! I like it's a little smaller and lighter too, and it looks like the difference in performance is really noticeable so for me it's a total winner

The content of GSM's review and the star rating doesn't seem to match! Pixel comes across as a very capable phone in the core areas such as delivering a snooth experience, excellent photography, great display, headphone jack and the only core area which is mediocre is the battery life. However when a user looks at the 3.7 star rating it seems to convey the message that its trash!! I beleive for what is tested and portrayed in the article it should be north of 4 star.

I wanted to buy it but since it also doesn't have face unlock, I jumped on the OP Nord bandwagon, it's the next best device when it comes to the OS and security update policy.

The back button isn't on the top, you need to swipe from the sides to go back. And there is no face unlock on the pixel 4a, it has that same fingerprint to are praising just a line below.
