No headphone jack, won't buy.

ASUS :maintain ur devices already sold ,like provide android 10updation for zenfoneM1and M2 as ur promise and give them minimum comfort softrware experience for ur current consumers after launch several devices and gadgets it,s a business decency.
Seriously, people complaining for few grams more of weight, get a life, really.
No headphone socket, no sale.
We would have bought two Pro versions.
Do not want the hassle of wireless earbuds or stupid adapters. Not interested. Annoying...
Hello Puppy, 26 Aug 2020This is by far the best flagship smartphone of 2020 but for the sake of my $300 Wired Headset,... moreYep. Both my wife and I would have bought the Pro versions of this phone, no question. She'd love the new cameras.
But no headphone socket, no sale.
There's no excuse for omitting it on a phone this thick. No excuse except that they hope to sell matching overpriced Bluetooth earbuds that'll go missing each month.
I don't need the hassle of wireless earbuds.
GregLu, 26 Aug 2020I'm eager to see the test. The main problem for me is that Qi is missing (And it's c... moreTBH my previous phone had Qi charging, I have a Qi charger in my lamp on a desk, in a car ... but I do not really miss it since the cable is so much faster and it takes a bit less room to have a cable than a cable and a Qi charger (when you use "regular" Qi charger ... as a small dock that lies sowhere).
I'm eager to see the test. The main problem for me is that Qi is missing (And it's convenient A LOT when you used and abused since a few year) and sometimes, my Note10+ is already too heavy ... So 230 gr could be a no go for me :(
Pawello, 26 Aug 2020I will simply not accept a phone taller than 160 mm and heftier than 200 g. So, what are you saying?
230 grams for at 6,67" device is quite a lot..
Good thing they didn't go for a 4th gimmicky camera, which even brands like OnePlus couldn't resist.
I have been waiting for this for a long time. It is a very likely contender for my pocket
I will simply not accept a phone taller than 160 mm and heftier than 200 g.
Loved the fact that it has a notification LED. Not everyone likes Alwas-on-display. The phones are looking very good judging by the specs.
It should give QHD+ display and 519 PPI then will be great
There's an opening for Asus with Samsung's recent errors, and they might just be taking it.
This does look rather huge which might put some off, but it might just siphon off some Note 20 buyers...
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2020Was thinking of upgrading to a zenfone 7 after redmi note 3, but since that died abruptly and ... more1. This is a flagship with that 5G (I really don't care but it's future proofing so) for 600 euros
2. 6gb is more than enough for daily usage, and you can upgrade to 8gb at a reasonable flagship compared price (also keep in mind this is a half midrange phone that can compete with the top end)
3. Stop comparing it to Xiaomi because they can get away with ads in software and other, also keep in mind that when a Poco phone gets to Europe it gets flagship level prices at mid to low range build quality. Nothing offensive but Indians are really becoming choosing beggars because you expect every company to follow xiaomi and make a cheap af phone with some flagship soc, and then you complain that it doesn't have a good camera, and when a phone that checks 95% of the list it sucks because it's not Xiaomi. Asus made a good phone and you can't accept it
Was thinking of upgrading to a zenfone 7 after redmi note 3, but since that died abruptly and i bought a 6gb poco f1 the zenfone looks like it's 2 years old on arrival. Asus has lost me this year. Maybe in an other 2-4 years they'll make phone worth my money. Also 6gb of ram for a base model? What is this ? 2018? 2019?
