MiUI imo, is the best of any non stock appearance Android skin, i say it even beats OneUI, which for some reason, people go crazy about, the transition, the menu, and overall on how it feels, is just nice, and suiting to a more expensive device, the only issue is that the ads in some region, is a bit intrusive, but i Think that they tone down to basically nothing with their more expensive device, and Poco devices, which is a great thing

Because I've been using two phone with OLED screen for over 2 years with one of them and I've never had that issue, while that is a possibility in some phone to have that degradation, so is LCD panel, LCD panel over the year will start to degrade to with my family's ipad and iPhone have that severe shadowing on the edge over the similar period of time that i have my phone which have an OLED panel, everything will degrade, its just a matter of time how quick one will, and so far, my OLED panel degrade much slowly compare to LCD panel, surely apple don't use a bad quality LCD panel..

I take it ads really do reduce the cost of the phone. No ads in Europe so phones are more pricey in that region.

You made a lot of valid through the review, I appreciate that !
For example in the conclusion about the fast charging / hot part, that's a thing that I appreciate in Samsung for example : I can fast charged with wire and choose to make it fast too by Qi or leave it at a "slow/normal" charge. Since I use two main Qi charger, I have enough battery for the day and if I need more some day, I'll just plug a cable for a few minutes to have nice top up. Does Xiaomi offer that in MIUI 12 too ? :-)

Already running Android 11 on the xiaomi.eu build (based on China beta ROM). Not much of a difference between this and the android 10 builds

This model's not sold in my country, just the regular Mi 10.
The Mi 10 and the Poco F2 Pro are some of the best Chinese Androids I tried. Well, at a glance, software is quite smooth. I heard there are MIUI bugs and privacy issues, but that's forgivable because of the price and build quality offered.
I don't trust any other Chinese phones other than from Xiaomi. Redmi lineup here needs some improvement, though. And the lineup is pretty messy.
