Anonymous, 19 Sep 2020I wish they went with a metal back. Why did glass backs become so popular? They just smudge so... moreMetal backs are pretty and durable, but incompatible with NFC and capacitive charging technologies.
wow, the razr screen panel has no "indentation" like the zfold screen. Nice.. bye2 zflip lol
Razr or Z Flip ?
They are not direct competitors... They use the same technology to do two completly different thing.
But from my place, the Motorola is the winner because it uses the foldable concept to be smaller in pocket rather than being simply huge. Its performances are sufficient for me.
And I really don't need a tablet-phone everywhere I'm going.
The only thing I hope is that this kind of phone will be cheaper in the future...
i want this phone so badly, the only bummer was the price
Whackcar, 19 Sep 2020Michael Fisher (Mr.Mobile) just reviewed it. He had plenty of positive things to say about it ... moreHe said the camera was better than the Z Flip in certain instances. It's better designed than the Z Flip, but that has a lot of advantages over the Razr
Anonymous, 20 Sep 2020It looks more like pebl than razr, maybe because of the thickness and surface materialsImagine if they could replicate the slide down to flip open mechanism of the Pebl. I wore put my Pebl’s back in the day from over doing it all the time, turned into a floppy mess. On second thoughts maybe they shouldn’t explore that as a option 😆
L.O.R.D, 19 Sep 2020True, the Razr still looks way cooler than the Z Flip, and Moto may put the best processor in ... moreFor this design the best processor is the sd765.
The 865 generates too much heat in the moto casing and so will the 875 or 9xx.
battery is too small
Anonymous, 20 Sep 2020It looks more like pebl than razr, maybe because of the thickness and surface materialsor even krzr.

Well, although it’s not using the most advance chipset, but overall this phone gets 8/10. Remember guys, this phone isn’t really for gamers nor graphic exploiters, it’s just another business oriented smartphone. If the hinge last, the brand will last.

Michael Fisher (Mr.Mobile) just reviewed it. He had plenty of positive things to say about it (his reviews are not paid).
According to it, The camera is actually better than Z Flip. Battery lasts about a day. Performance is smooth. The hinge seems solid, for now. Overall, it fixes all the major issues of the first-gen RAZR.
I think Motorola has done a commendable job here.
YUKI93, 19 Sep 2020But at least Motorola finally fixes all the wrong things from the previous model, particularly... moreTrue, the Razr still looks way cooler than the Z Flip, and Moto may put the best processor in the 3rd version, and further improve the design, add a few more features, make some changes here and there and the Razr 3 could very well be the phone to have over the Flip
There should be a button on the side top near thumb which can open the screen nicely. Opening the flap is a big issue here and closing is delight.

YUKI93, 19 Sep 2020Lol, completely different types of folding-screen phones between the two altogether. For a few hundred dollars more i take the more technological advanced one the hinge alone is a marvellous piece of tech.
Then you have the 120hz massive display, multi tasking features for the big display, the camera set up.
Fold 2 beat Razr hands down
Anonymous, 18 Sep 2020That's the deal...with the razr your buying style and nostalgia. It really feels like a c... moreNo its a galaxy phone one minute and a galaxy tablet the next.
Motorola Razris basically unuseable with the front screen smaller then the OG fold
One phone is pushing technological barriers has the worlds smallest curvature on a foldablde device the other doesn't.
Hopefully Fold 2 will outsell Razr even with the more expensive price tag
"and it's ugly as hell"
Thats funny considering everyone loves the look and feel of the device, right now the best foldable device is Fold 2 nothing comes close
ASUS ROG Phone 3, 18 Sep 2020These are pointless expensive devices which most people won't even bother to look at it. ... moreThe 2nd Iteration has improved, but only slightly. It should have had atleast 2 cameras, especially since the camera isn't placed at the centre. Also, the chipset should have been the top of the line Snapdragons instead of a midrange chip. I am not mentioning increasing the size of the outer display covering the entire outside, or a cut out-camera, 120hz screen or other drastic improvements.
The Razr is very high on style and nostalgia. At everything else it's a lower end midrange, since most mid rangers have at least 2 back cameras (3+ actually), and some interesting other specs.
