iOS Never Again, 23 Sep 2020Can you do split screen multitasking on your iPhone?
Even budget Androids can do it. who's gonna split-screen on phone displays?

This realization is why some of us currently using android come around to see what Apple is up to; if the 'gravitational pull' is strong enough to influence our next buy or current wishlist. In my opinion, some of these arguments is like debating the importance of food vs the importance of water... a hungry man and a thirsty man will have varying choices meaning it could be purely subjective. Meanwhile those coming all the way from the other side just to rant, their rants speaks much about them than what they actually say.
I come in peace. Stay safe.

They're still just elongated smartphone apps on tablets.
Yes, many manufacturers are TRYING, but that doesn't mean their execution is good. Most tablets(besides tab s7 range) are low to midrange tablets. Even tab s7 line suffers from poor DeX optimization and bad base software. The rating is only good because of the spec sheet.

The reason is that Android is designed for customization while iOS is designed to be lightweight OS. When a lightweight operating system is taxed with the task of high end customization and features, it fails badly.
This is why these features were always buggy on jailbroken iPhones in the past. I remember the implementation of HTC flip clock widget on jailbroken iPhone back in the day, which lagged like hell, while it worked smoothly on Android devices with 512mb RAM.
