Anonymous, 23 Sep 2020Can you play PUBG @60fps on you LG V20 lol.Not everyone plays heavy graphics games on their phone.
I'm also using V20 and it still works most of the games...just that the battery management sux like how iPhone does.

As for bugs, there's plentiful but i think OP doesnt share on that cos they are getting incentives from Apple for recommending Apple products on their site.
Best thing is security now drops drastically and u get spam easily + u cannot block them.

Second my Little brother has a galaxy s8 and it can still run perfectly fine. Third off the galaxy s8 was meant to compete with the Iphone 7 not the Iphone X. Both phones are good in their own ways and all. But still my little brothers s8 runs so well?? And finally I think your friend phone is lagging maybe because he has too many useless apps or he does not clear his cache at all. And the pixel 2 is a premium phone that came the same year as the iphone x and it still gets updates buddy. But I feel like your bashing tbh...

[deleted post]My friend is using a premium Android, the s8 galaxy and I can tell you, it is very slow and feels more like an entry level than a premium. My iPhone X on the other hand, a phone released in the same year as the s8 is still very fast like a premium phone should be, even on iOS 14 and I haven’t noticed any bug. Not to mention that this is the 4th OS update I got whereas my friend’s s8 won’t receive any more updates. “Premium” phones that are only good for a couple of years are not premium.

The most unfortunate thing is, Windows Phone which as an Operating System was much more superior (How? My Nokia 525 which had only 1 GB RAM performed extremely well than a 3 GB RAM Android mobile) Android took so so much long time to get to where it is now, whereas Windows Phone with a very few releases was a highly optimized and fantastic in terms of performance, and by now it would have been even better if it was alive.
The only problem...Apps. However, it did have almost all the essential applications. But it was killed. It is very sad as it was such a great operating system.
We don't want great Operating system right? we want more and more junk applications.

                            Enough of my grievance...

Tons of them are already complaining here about these issues after they upgraded iOS 14.
                              Must be gibberish.

Battery life problems are very common.
I always use to wait 3-4 months before updating the OS.
Never had so many bugs on newer version of Androids upon launch.

IOS took 10 years to bring widgets yet it is a half baked implementation.
The problem is that you cannot make a lightweight OS perform heavy tasks and have features that are complex in nature. And the closed source nature of the OS isn't helping either.

iOS Never Again, 22 Sep 2020That is to be expected. This is very common with every new upgrade on iOS. TThis is why I left... more1) So do Android phones... (Android users tend to upgrade sooner so don't realise it as much)
                                    2) So do Android phones...
                                    3) So do Android phones...
                                    4) So do Android phones...

The situation is exactly the same except fortunately for iOS users their devices aren't neglected quite as soon as most Android devices. Yes, an old device will be slower and may not support the newer features because they're NEW features which more often than not require new hardware and/or more processing power to back them up. Android is no different, oh they've added Vulkan support but you're device was the generation before and your gpu doesn't support it... Oh well! That's the way things work...

For a little context, I've been a user of both Android & iOS, I'm a professional game developer who's developed for both iOS & Android and I have to say that Android is a dumpster fire in comparison. The main issue being the thousands of different devices all running with slightly different firmware & hardware. The number of complaints like 'Oh this doesn't work on my random budget phone for x reason' is astonishing... I could probably fit the iOS devices I need to support on my desk, not a chance in hell for Android...

iOS has clean APIs, good (usually) tools and devices that perform significantly better and more reliably than any Android device I've ever known.

It's not perfect as you pointed out but that's reality, Android is no better in that regard...
