Still waiting for a compact version of xperia phone.
If they stop using 21:9 format, going back to a more useful 16:9 display, a phone large 68mm like 5 II, with the same frame of 5 II, would be 124mm height (4,9" display).

A380, 28 Sep 2020Making popcorn for reading 1k comments on this review I second to that. Let's arrange a virtual theatre with popcorns & drinks to observe the 1K comments exponentially in just blink of an eye in Sony articles because Sony is living on Sony nay-sayers mind rent free for a decade :)
"selfie cam has no 4K recording" - who even needs that?
YUKI93, 28 Sep 2020You definitely need a super sharp eye to notice the photo quality difference between the 5 ii ... moreThat's not something you can even compare because of changes made to sharpening in firmware updates.
You would literally had to have Xperia 1 II and 5 II on the same firmware and than compare them, aka you can't use GSM compare tool.
Shanti Dope, 28 Sep 2020Now that's how you properly do a 120Hz display in FHD+. Take notes, Samsung ☺️What do you even mean by that?? Galaxy Note 20 Ultra runs 120Hz mode perfectly fine at FHD+ resolution, and edges out Xperia in some other metrics (e.g. 2x max brightness, higher resolution in 60Hz mode).
A380, 28 Sep 2020Making popcorn for reading 1k comments on this review Yum yum :-) - please shate ^_^ !
Nice phone. Good job Sony. The only problem is it doesn't look modern with thick top and bottom bezels.
You definitely need a super sharp eye to notice the photo quality difference between the 5 ii and 1 ii. Maybe because of the 3D ToF sensor omission, the 5 ii looks a bit too soft compared to the 1 ii.
Hey
You compared the battery care feature to the Asus one saying that the time in is only available on the Asus but it's actually also available on the Sony. When you put it in auto mode it'll automatically adapt and set an earlier time so that it's before the alarm.
carcoon, 28 Sep 2020too many typos in the articleHistorically, 'GSM ARENA', is known for spelling errors, and typographical errors. I still frequent their mobile still occasionally frequently their mobile site, and use their 'android' app almost every day.
Things to be my perfect phone: Lower Prize 🥴, Qi, bigger Accu, IR, no shared card slot
Thanks for the quick review! I was waiting for a long time for the Xperia 5 II. I'm due to replace my S8 and wanted a compact flagship(narrower than 70mm), the only other option this year seems to be the S20. The Sony is almost the perfect phone for me...almost. Since I work outside I rely on a bright display, which sadly the Sony doesn't seem to have. I really hope(if at all possible) that Sony pushes an update to increase brightness, otherwise it seems I have to go with the S20.
xperia mobiles is best andriod phone in world ..quality for phone like apple expect OS
Well, that review was out in a blink of an eye, wasn't it? I-... Fascinating at its peak 😄
.
Anyway, I highly stan and adore Xperia 5 II, but my choice will stay at Xperia 1 II or their halo-flagship lineup when I'll buy it regardless those comments & upcoming replies that forcing me to choose anything else, due to I'm holding on with XZ Premium currently, and 1 II is XZP's great ancestor, so it's the same family, therefore I chose 1 II (yes, I consume 4K contents on my phone, so 1 II is suited me better than 5 II)
Shanti Dope, 28 Sep 2020Now that's how you properly do a 120Hz display in FHD+. Take notes, Samsung ☺️All Samsung is doing is 1080p@120 :D not to mention on a brighter display ... like twice as bright.
