Most people won't be able to tell any difference.
Also, it will take atleast 4-5 years for 5G to be implemented & data plans to be reasonably priced so even upper-middle class people can use them. By then, you would already have changed your op 8T/ S20 FE, so no use of 5G now.
Plus there are great advantages with S20 FE over 8T like IP68 rating, better cameras with main 12MP Dual-pixel sensor, wireless charging, Guaranteed 3 OS (till Android 14) updates with security updates for 3 years, peace of mind with vast network of Samsung's service centres.. They are known for having a lighter-touch when it comes to modifying the stock Android experience. Cameras in the newest models are getting great reviews, and updates come for significantly longer than some other handset makers.

Why cannot Oneplus just introduce just one device per year, they just release 8 then better specs with 8T and better specs with 8T pro or 8 pro

The OP6 will be my last Oneplus as they have lost the plot :
-The UI was great as the closest you can get to stock android , with a low footprint and few apps monstly removable . Now basically is a Samsung copy,bigger footprint, more apps that you can un-install.
-Camera was always the weak part of OP phones but at least you still get an incredible value of having something close to flagship at half price and at OP6 -6T it seemed that they where going to hit back . Now they are way behind in image processing and the sensor decision is simply embarrassing at this price point .
-Regarding updates...meh if you look at their record they are very very fast to get the first major update after a device release and then, slow down considerabily, after one year of the release of a smartphone the OS updates get buggier and buggier (OP5, OP6 etc ) and the security updates get slower and slower , my wife 2017 Galaxy s8 received the september security update at the end of 2020 september , and my 2018 OP6 is still stuck at the 1st July security patch.

With macro you get details from very close, telephoto from far to make it simple. 7t pro and 8 pro have telephoto, 8t macro. Many people consider it as a step back as you daily prefer take photos from your friends at distance more than insects or leaf in your garden with high details. So there is no "better cam", main lens is similar, oneplus image processing is mediocre but can be compensate with gcam, and macro or telephoto depends on your usage preferences. The rest is gimmick in my opinion

I was struggling between 8t (since I own 3t &6t) and Xperia 5 ii. But taking into consideration the camera, IP rating is headjack I guess I pay the extra money and switch to Sony. OnePlus disappointed me.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2020Which has better camera , 8t or 7t pro?There is two things, the hardware and software. The 8T has the same physical lens than the other models, but they probably improved the software side (the processing side of the photo), but as it's software it can be ported on all models I guess. The only one with a different hardware is the 8 pro even if it's 48mp as well. However Oneplus doesn't have a reputation for the software. Google still use a 12mp main cam but they masterize the image processing so they are still a reference on android phone. Whatever model you buy from oneplus I recommend you to install gcam, some developper have ported google processing algorithms to improve final results. And it works for all cams of 8 pro for example.

OnePlus had a grea... moreBeware of exynos processor its performance is not soo good and also consumes so much of battery , i have been using S10 plus for more than a year and trust me snapdragon is way more power efficient than exynos.
