MrHong, 29 Oct 2020I think it's more realistic to compare against the 11 Pro. Regular 11 is still using LCD,... moreComparing 12 to 11 is more realistic than 11 Pro. There's a 12 Pro for that. 12 is a successor of 11.
ASUS ROG Phone 3, 29 Oct 202012 Pro Supposed to get 4.5 and 12 Pro Max will get 5.5? Wow !!Pro and Pro Max, both will probably get 4.5. Especially, the Pro Max, in which i think, after a long time, Apple has brought something new..that sensor-shift OIS. Waiting to see how it works on a smartphone.
Beautiful design, best looking iPhone since the 5/se!!
MrHong, 29 Oct 2020I think it's more realistic to compare against the 11 Pro. Regular 11 is still using LCD,... moreI think so too. But in the review it said it's worse than iPhone 11, not iPhone 11 Pro. That's why I'm having my doubts as well.

Ariana Grande , 29 Oct 2020We need to convince people, in some way or another, to stop buying iphones.
Next year Harm... moreWhy do 'we' need to try to change the buying decisions of other people, and who is this 'we' anyway, Huawei fans???
Good luck getting me to switch to Huawei, The company themselves have so far failed in this endeavour (and that's with a sizable marketing budget), You and your little 'we' group have a far steeper hill to climb.
Anyway, it's always a slippery slope when you convince yourself that you need to convince others to think as you do. So why don't you just do you, let everyone else decide for themselves. 1 billion active iPhones, and you know how many of them Apple forced onto their customers, zero.
Try to have a little respect for the fact that people around you are capable of making just as intelligent a decision as you are, though with differing desire's and needs come differing results.
Why I do not see info about sensor size???
ARMYGENERAL, 29 Oct 2020Uhm Sir, P40 lineup has 3 phones. You shared the Pro. Straight P40 has lower score than iPhone 12.Wait mb, it was not P40 Pro, it was Mate 40 Pro sorry. Forget about lineup thing. I meant this is not fair againts 12, we need to wait 12 Pro.
MrHong, 29 Oct 2020I think it's more realistic to compare against the 11 Pro. Regular 11 is still using LCD,... moreYes but people getting a 12 will be comparing it to the XR and 11 not the XS and 11 pro. Compared to the 11 it looks like it’s better when 4g is used but worse with 5g enabled. Likelihood is gsmarena had the phone in 5g auto as that is how the phone is set by default
Anonymous, 29 Oct 2020I find it weird they did not specify whether 5G was enabled for the battery test or not. From ... moreI think it's more realistic to compare against the 11 Pro. Regular 11 is still using LCD, which is usually less efficient than OLED panel. The 12 loses against the 11 Pro, but when MrWhoseTheBoss tried all phones on Antutu, I was surprised that the 12 had a big performance gap despite all phones become warm and required restart.
Anonymous, 29 Oct 2020Nexus have fake colours with too much contrast like Pixel Nexus 6P tend to make shadows dark but at least didn't crush black like Pixels.
[deleted post]Reported for swear language ;) Nowadays it's really easy to find what a certain phrase means on the internet.
MrHong, 29 Oct 2020Just some opinions based on GsmA's review (and from other users/reviews)... Very good ... moreI find it weird they did not specify whether 5G was enabled for the battery test or not. From what I have seen from other battery tests (for example, Mrwhosetheboss's battery test on YouTube), the iPhone 12's battery performs better than iPhone 11's when only 4G is enabled.
MrHong, 29 Oct 2020Just some opinions based on GsmA's review (and from other users/reviews)... Very good ... moreI have the 12 and I can say that the battery life is actually quite good. I typically have 17 hour days and the phone can do it without needing charging throughout the day. If I were to use it a lot during the day I reckon I could kill it but my last phone required a top up every day after about 14 hours so I see this as quite good
[deleted post]But many Chinese phones rely on Qualcomm for their chipsets, does that make them American phones?
We need to convince people, in some way or another, to stop buying iphones.
Next year Harmony OS comes around and I'll be switching to a Mate 40 Pro. Hopefully Harmony might incentivize some iphone users as well. And this needs to continue until Apple wakes up and opens up the platform to everyone, allowing it to communicate with other platforms well and also stop the anti-repair crap they're pulling off for years.
Davy Jones, 29 Oct 2020Well you better buy an xperia 5ii if you want a small phone instead of this half baked fruit phone.u joking , right ?
[deleted post]I also don't buy Chinese phones. Maybe except Huawei and probably Oppo. Just stick to Samsung.
