Because of custom ROM support (see OP's history, they started selling phones with custom ROM phones. They also provide source code quickly so custom ROM devs can addapt). Only Qualcomm offers code and is the most open company when is comes to custom ROM support.
Time to forget OnePlus till they bring something really good like a Mediatek 5G chipset at low cost.
Why doesn't OnePlus use chipsets like Mediatek Dimensity 820 which are cheaper and much more powerful than these 8nm Snapdragon ones?
An absolute waste of money. OnePlus had degraded its quality and I don't think this will help them get success in the market.
Motorola and oneplus, who can support phones less. Even one series only one update. It is settled, not for me.
Read realme 6 review, and you will know that they are almost identical.

I'm actually really impressed with the photo quality in daylight and Nightscape mode. It looks almost true-to-life. Shame about the lack of OIS and a native telephoto camera.
"Uninspiring design", it looks identical as every other phone today, from flagship to budget?!
Now that Carl Pei is gone, looks like OnePlus is going to a different direction, which looks like a bad one.
Just buy a oneplus Nord one month ago, solfware not stable, 12g ram phone, but like a 6g ram phone. 48mp camera not support zoom . Disappointed
