Your argument is so hilariously extreme that it doesn't even make sense to me.

I'm sorry to ask, but are you blind? The Xperia's night shots are MILES away. None of the other phones can reach it. The Mate 40 strikes a good balance between retaining detail and wiping noise, but with the Xperia you don't need that! The shots are awesome!!

I am extremely unhappy with this phone. first of all when this phone is charging it gets extremely hot like it's going to start to burn up. Second of all it will automatically go on mute on every call I am on and the person I'm speaking to thinks I'm not there anymore so I have to manually unmute it myself which is very inconvenient and confuses the person I'm talking to. Also this phone makes calls all by itself without me even touching the phone I went into the MetroPCS store and complained and they would not replace the phone or do anything for me because there was one little scratch on the screen. I feel that I have bought a phone with lots of problems from the start. I feel something should be done and this phone is damaged and especially it burning up very hot seems like it's dangerous proposition. Thank you for any help I can get on this matter.

Strangely enough, on the 2nd daylight snail photo, Mate 40 are the most neutral, well exposed, excellent details compared to others.

When looking at all the pictures at 100% size, I do not see any of those cameras producing sharp and brilliant photos from front to back. At 100 % especially leaves of trees and grass look blurry, as if I look though glasses without matching my diopter. For socoal media with cropped photos, those cameras are ok. But in the year 2020 no cameras of the mentioned phones have the ability to deliver sharp and crisp photos on 100 % in a point-and-shoot mode. That is so incredible disappointing in the light of those number of camera lenses on the back of the devices!!

w... moreSo just by slight color differences on the sky, the rest of the scene not accurate? Lets face it, every other phone will have slight inaccurate color science in every scene, skin tones, greens & so on. The same goes to actual camera world, be it on Sony, Canon, Fujifilm & Leica.
Glad that you admit youre not a pro photographer, because its so obvious. As for me, Huawei flagship since Mate 30 is a hell of Point-and-Shoot camera beast.

Building pictures:
a. Huawei painted sky as purple, rest 3 phones did not . My eyesight is good, yay
b. zoom in to any pic, the dials/markings on the clock are very clear and no noise. Huawei - Blurred in comparison.
c. Zoom to the plates of blue reno van : Rest 3 phones are super clear, Huawei not close

we all know how to correct Images and to what level they can be corrected.
All you are missing is a simple fact. The other 3 phones could get the accurate color and Huawei could not. forget about HSL management , gamma correction blah blah.
Lastly, yes, i am not a pro in photography world. But thats the beauty of smart phones, to make photography simple for a layman, right. Otherwise, One can use a DSLR if they could plan for a shoot. and there my friend, you dearest huawei went wrong with year flagship. Period

OK, the camera is not a gimmick, it is awesome, fingers crossed.
The 120W charging is rubbish, it overheats your phone. There's uncertainty in MIUI, cheap half-baked OS.
