Yes , Xiaomi had not been there there would be no Realme from Oppo or Samsung M51 , Xiaomi forced the players to come to economic terms , Samsung took time , & Oppo had to introduce flagship cameras ( Almost matching Samsung S20 for Realme ( Only Main Cam. under certain conditions , otherwise S20 is better cam. overall ) to take on Xiaomi ( Thanks to POCO X2 excellent flagship camera & Redmi note 9 Pro Max good camera configuration ) , infact Budget phones with 5x zoom like Realme x3 SuperZoom or Realme 6 Pro ( With 2x zoom ) was possible thanks to Xiaomi.
Earlier Phones like Redmi 1s , Redmi 2 etc. where excellent in camera , , over generation xiaomi reduced its cam. quality & now User experience with Ads - Zili app , MX Takatak etc. too much bloatware & ads. Realme has next no Ads in comparison , POCO X2 camera was excellent till they reduced image quality on MIUI 12 upgrade & now no Call Recording - POCO X3 , they should keep consistent camera quality , & stop those Adult Ads.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2020You say there are lots of midrange phones but you keep comparing this phone to high end $1000+... moreI am 100% certain that there were OLED and steel frame phones for less than 400€ on the market 2-3 years ago. So for anyone looking for a replacement, this is relevant information.
What do you expect them to say? "It's made of plastic, it has a LCD, and you can make calls with it. It's just like everything else on the market." They need to give some context.
