Gmail is also standard for Apple users. Same for YouTube.
Infact, the top 10 apps downloaded on Apple Store, 3-4 of them are Google based Apps.

On Android, they don't make the list as they are baked in by default. So they don't end up on the most downloaded list.

I don't think 2020 people are so stupid, they don't know how to install apps themselves😁😁😁 but they do know that Google doesn't have nantphones even though they don't know why google service is so good.
Most people make 10 accounts in a month. They never remember their passwords... Hahaha, ha So why is Google using them to have a chrome viewer because it's google to them? And they don't know how to install YT vanced for those and it's not these phones that want everything on a plate if you're stupid

Open source code is by nature open to the public and has more chance of someone catching something and reporting it on github/lab etc. Closed source aka random foreign apps could have any sort of malware etc bundled in.

Petal Search will give you links to download Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp from their respective websites - which means the users will need to update the individual apps themselves. Such bad user experiences even after spending so much money. Totally not worth it!

Mikele, 17 Dec 2020Absolutely he is living in a stone age!! I have P40 Pro and it performed excellently without ... moreI just wanted to point out that I'm showing facts and not being biased. Look at GSMArena's photo comparison between the Galaxy Note9 and the P40 Pro. I looked into all 3, black/ white, good light, low light and for Huawei having the "better camera" the sample pics sure don't look as good as the Note 9 pics.
I suggest you go and look at them to prove me wrong.
The only thing that I found looked better for the P40 was looking at Abe Lincoln's had on the dollar bill, other than that the P40 is not as clear as the Note 9 at the 12mp scaling (that's the only one I looked at).
Spongebob is sharper, you can read the writing on the side of the colored pencils, the rubber bands are clean looking, the abacus beads are way sharper... Everything else looks better in the Note9 sample pics.
Explain to me why you think the P40 takes better pics based on these samples.

Even half of the readers of phone websites like gsmarena doesn't understand much. So security isn't a priority to them. They are happy if they have a good camera and long battery life.

A friend of mine who has a PhD in mechanical engeneering once asked me "why should I care about data security? My data is not important."

Gsmarena doesn't touch that part because half of the reader won't understand and rest half are kinda fixated about their notion.
