JES, 25 Dec 2020The sweet spot for performance is always to go with the lowest resolution, I think you'd ... moreFor me 1080p is the sweet spot for most sizes right now. My A70 is on the large side even by today's standards at 6.7", but I haven't had any pixellation concerns despite having had a 1440p phone in the past and genuinely struggling with the pixellation on the 17" 1280x1024 work monitor I had at the time.
720p would be a much more noticeable downgrade at that size, but in a more compact screen it'd still clear the 300ppi mark and be a modest tradeoff at worst. That also would be a good fit for the A4x name.
60Hz over 250€ is an automatic deal breaker to me at this point, the 720p is just an insult to an injury.
Anonymous, 25 Dec 2020s10e was perfect device basically 100,% same as the s10 with 1 less camera and side mounted ... moreI have the s10 and agree regarding battery, I get about 4-5hrs sot, lasts me a day, battery drains slightly when idle. Performance is great and compact!!!.
Panda eyes, 25 Dec 2020iPhone SE 2020 has 720p 4.8 inch LCD display with a14 bionic chip (iPhone 11 chip)A13 bionic actually
Panda eyes, 25 Dec 2020I love the design, Shame the A42 isn't compact like the A40 & A41. Been a while since... mores10e was perfect device basically 100,% same as the s10 with 1 less camera and side mounted fingerprint scanner which actually works better than underscreen
only downside was battery life of whole s 10 series was average and they exynos was inferior
A40 - a compact phone. A41 - stilo compact. A42 - a giant, 76mm wide. Heh, talking about consistency, Samsung.
Only the price is a let down. Display isn't important for many folks. Other than that, it's great.
The display is a bit disappointing really. i am used to FHD super amoled in samsumg edge 7 where everything looks smooth. But in this phone, somehow you see the different in display where you can see the pixels and looks rough . i dont understand why samsung downgrade the resolution in this phone. FHD would be better.
hindisong.cc, 25 Dec 2020Bear with you or not. HD+ is never acceptable for any reason whatsoever.A screen this small is simply not enough space to appreciate the difference in pixel count. Even if you're used to a FHD phone screen, You likely won't notice anything (Like I do, As somebody who regularly used both)
Oppaii, 24 Dec 2020The most expensive 720p hmmmmmThat would be the iPhone 11
Also why it has en exceptional performance apart from its low screen resolution is that it has a Graphite heat spreader/dissipator where the Chipset rest, all the 2020 A series Galaxy phones do not have a heat spreader, even the foremost Galaxy A71 has a basic set-up,no heat spreader.
Bear with you or not. HD+ is never acceptable for any reason whatsoever.
