The missing of the battery stats were not so quickly fixed with an update to the 'Device Care' application in the playstore which seemed to fix the issue for my One UI 3.0 running S20+
I thing this Phone is perfekt. To hold, and the size is not oversized to hold and have in the pocket.
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2021The only issue i have with my s20 is biometrics reader, namely fingerprint. I have the factory... moreYou can install "one hand operations" from the galaxy store. It is from Samsung. I take a screen shot swiping from left to right upwards... Work very wheel, but I prefer the 3 fingers gestures of OnePlus devices.
Arlotech, 08 Jan 2021Hey Crew, I am using the S20 and have the same issue as Hari with regards to the overheating... moreIt is because you are working in high temperatures in direct sunlight, my iPhones gives that message just by sitting idle in the car when direct sunlight hits it.
I think the S20+ is a really good part of the S20 family, because it is a better deal than the regular S20 smartphone. I can't wait to see the new models and all of the upgraded features and new chips. I think the only bad thing is the updates only being for 2 years and the Exynos chipsets in some countries.
Superb phone. Nice ,useful camera , good battery life, amazing display, brilliant stereo sound. Fluid and smooth touch function. No lagging, no hanging, no heating. Best phone now. Extremely user friendly as it is happy to hold and low weight and perfect dimensions. Another gem from Samsung.
I use S20+ since 6months battery is super ok bcz when I leave my home I connect my data and hotspot connection to another mobile and watch movie also still battery after 9 hours is 18% but only camera while zooming it's not clear after 17 X other is all cool bcz I'm from beginning user of Samsung I love Samsung device
RazrFlip, 08 Jan 2021After a year, what is the remaining maximum capacity of the phone's battery. On my Note 9... moreMy battery still lasts all day, no problem, but yes noticeably less than new, 3017 mAh sounds about right, I've not measured.
Ideally leave home 100% charged.
No need for anxiety, if you think you could run out of battery, just make sure that you are able to charge your Note9 according to your environment, take/ have your:
USB-A to USB-C lead with you to charge in a vehicle, if you have access to a power socket at some point then take the power brick as well.
If you won't have any access to electricity then take a portable power bank, you probably already have one, test it's up to the job first before you rely on it.
If you need to get one, I think 10,000 mAh capacity is currently best bang for buck.
In the meantime you could use your phone's Medium or even Maximum power saving mode.
When your Note9 battery is no longer holding a reasonable charge, then you can get it replaced, contact Samsung for advice.
I am using the S20 and have the same issue as Hari with regards to the overheating of the phone whilst using the camera. This will be a game changer for me and I may have to go back to the iPhone. Admittedly I work in a high ambient environment during Summer ( 35 - 45°c) , but I need to take around 100-150 pics over around a 90 minute period. Currently I get about 30 before the high temp warning is displayed and locks me out of the camera until the unit cools ( I usually just turn the unit off to speed up the process) If there is a known fix for this , please share. Perhaps I am simply asking too much of the unit given the ambient temperature and may need to use a stand alone digital camera

You may consider removing it too
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2021The only issue i have with my s20 is biometrics reader, namely fingerprint. I have the factory... moreI googled samsung s20...as I also found this method quite annoying to screenshot.. swipe the side of your hand across the screen and this will produce a screenshot
I am using Samsung Galaxy S20+ over a period of 3 months. Phone is good but it heats up while taking more camera shots. At a point of time it feels very hot and camera doesn't work takes time to cool. I got an update recently with newer version of Android and One UI. I AM STILL FACING THE ISSUE.
Other than that camera, speed, features, everything is good. This is my 4th Samsung phone after Samsung galaxy s duos, J7 2015 and Galaxy S7.
Mahesh D, 08 Jan 2021I'm using s20+ from last 10 months. In the first 2 months there was a problem of heating ... moreI still have s10+ and I bought s20+ too. Bot are good terminals. I'm using them since last year. But s10+ battery last more than s20+ .
The only issue i have with my s20 is biometrics reader, namely fingerprint. I have the factory screen plastic on, not sure if thats the issue. Also i have had to adapt to the fact of screenshots requiring pushing vol.down + lock button, but the same applies for switching it off (press abit longer). If you press and hold the lock button (traditionally also the power button), it just starts up bixby. Other than that, its a superb phone and the s-pen is great
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2021Use app AccuBattery in play storeAccu battery apps is good?
I'm using s20+ from last 10 months. In the first 2 months there was a problem of heating but after update it is resolved. The phone is premium, doesn't hang or lag, features are good. The only problem is less battery backup, battery lasts a day if you do regular stuff, for gaming and heavy users, it needs to be charged twice a day.
