I’m enjoying Luna so far. Yes it’s limited right now but from the playing I’ve gotten in it’s been an amazing experience. I’m going to say Luna will become the best games streaming service once it gets up and running.

cloud gaming needs another couple of years to mature in terms of hard/software.

I recently bought an Xbox One Wireless Controller and went ahead to connect it with my Mac (Air 2018 - with the latest version running) using Google Chrome (latest version).

The problem is I'm not able to connect my Xbox controller (share button in the middle) either via USB Type-C or Bluetooth or both together.

I've made sure that all hardware and software is updated and ready to go.

I've also read a lot on how to and I see a lot of people are complaining too - https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/kryxiy/xbox_one_controller_does_not_work_on_mac_in_stadia/?...

Are XBOX controllers not available for iOS or Mac yet??

https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9578631?hl=en-CA - Over here it says Xbox controllers are compatible to play via USB and Bluetooth. But why can't I connect?

Please help me resolve as I need to play multiplayer on my Stadia. Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you

Burhan

Stadia was a huge disappointment because I had such high expectations for it. My friend has Geforce and quite honestly, it's so PC-centric you might as well get a laptop and be done with it. XCloud is definitely my favorite of the three, only issue being you have to be streaming on 5ghz wifi because running on 2.4 gets pretty laggy at times.

I have tried PS now, Stadia, and GFrorce. I say they each have unique strengths. PS now has my backlog games I wanted to play and I find it performs well. I do notice some hiccups but with good internet it's mostly avoided. Stadia performs really well but not many games I want are on there. GForce performs well but I don't think it's worth the wait times when free and not worth the money for instant access. Plus the games it allows from steam and epic don't interest me for the most part.

I tried stadia on OnePlus 8 12gb ram model with PS4 controller on 5ghz wi-fi . I played destiny 2 without any problems and even tried streaming the content to my TV ..it was still playable so with a wired connection you'd be able to play it on the TV with the PS4 pad . The only thing letting this service down is the price . Luckily I was on the free trial

Cloud gaming can be like Netflix, but it can also not be like it.
I buy games in Stadia and I play them in HD without paying for any subscription.
In Netflix I always have to pay for a subscription and you can't buy a movie there.
That's why Stadia is the best option for me and xcloud, luna and GFN is a no no.

FutureDegree0, 14 Jan 2021Is this article for real? This article sounds like a joke. Xcloud is by far the worst of the 3... moreYep agreed, tried them all and could barely hold a stable connection with Xcloud. Geforce Now is fantastic if you already have a library of PC games. Stadia by far the best streaming tech going, feels like playing a local console.

Also, not sure why it's getting heat for having it's own store and having to buy stadia copies of games? Can you buy xbox games via epic & steam now or am i missing something? It's not launching PC games it's a platform in itself.

So i have got 3 of the services already.

stadia- bought cyberpunk on it, pc version is crap due to the browser, mobile version is ok so far on the pixel 5, with the pc browser version i even streamed 4k of cyberpunk and it looked worse than the 1080p verison and thats on a 500mbps connection.

Xcloud- already owned the gamepass ulti due to kids, so far has bee the better service i have had so far on mobile been the most stable so far and has had less visual issues.

Geforce now- i have the shield for the tv, but i also have a very capable pc and its ok, had some stability issues and some visual issues on the shield and had some wierd latency issues going on, could have been the amount of wifi devices we have in the house due to the controller using wifi to connect, looks the best out of the 3 tho

Cloud gaming looks to be gaining alot of traction and could well replace the consoles in a lot of homes, due to ease of use and ability to stream on a £50 device, We will see Sony join the fight soon with PS Now, it sort of works but is not a great experience.

Domestoboto, 15 Jan 2021Where, though? A graphics card that's actually ready for 2021 titles (RTX 2060 and ab... moreI mean for a $400 PC gaming is certainly not enough to buy rtx to play top games. if you want gaming it's better to buy the latest console. but for sure I don't need cloud gaming.

I thought everything on MS streaming is 720p only. This article mentions 1080p. I don't think that is true after testing myself for months....
