Xenotyro, 06 Feb 2025Do you have 50MP mode enabled in the camera settings?Yes, Nokia X30 have 50MP mode in main camera instead of 12.5MP default mode and 16MP mode in front facing camera instead of 4MP default mode.

This phone is upgradable to Android 14.
And, Snapdragon 695 phones actually do not fully support Wifi 6.

I wanted a phone with a good quality camera and display graphics and I got it. I don't know, if it's my fault somehow, but my Nokia X30 is about a year old and the battery 🔋 is performing very bad. If I am going out (9 times out of 10), the battery is full 100%. It drops very fast though. 10% in 1 hour average. So, when I am outside for 8 hours, the battery level drops down to 15-25%. This is an actual problem for me and it has been like this, since I purchased it as new. The second issue is, that the Corning Gorilla glass victus has 3 barely visible wear marks on it. I am absolutely confident, that I am not to blame for it. I only used it in a protective case and I have always handled it with care. I have never dropped it. Should I take it to warranty? We have a regulation,demaanding minimum of 2 year warranty for all electronics in EU. Even for Apple products.

Looking back at this smartphone in 2024, I just realized that this is yet another smartphone with offline FM Radio functionality but no headphone jack, just like the 2020 LG Wing 5G and the 2019 Samsung Galaxy A80.

For watching YouTube or... more"The diference is pretty obvious" is a far fatched claim, i owe x30 and till a year ago i only owed flagships, the difference is not quite obvious and one can throw at it quite a bit. The only "obvious" difference that will take a flagship from a midranger apart (when we talk day to day use) is playing games. Well people who consoder rhis devices are probably not concerned of how smooth it plays games...

For the price not many phones can beat this one with superior quality and simple and good looks.
The price drop is good news it makes this phone even more valuable for money and even I am a Galaxy S22 ULTRA user that's over twice as expensive as this phone you really won't miss a lot on it for sure. My friend has the X30 when we compare day to day use there's really no difference in speed or anything.
