Oh no the batery endurance! after 3 generations of Tensor chips google are leading the industry for the worst efficiency in the smartphone world.
I guess I'm sticking with the my 6a or I might ditch google for Samsung or Xiaomi.

Battery life is really disappointing. Seems like Google didn't care any about battery life and just prioritized camera performance.

The new chipset seems not so much improved, it looks even worse than Pixel 6.

I think I'll stick with my 6a. The battery life is still better than the 8. I'll be more likely to upgrade once Google ditches Tensor.

Jeez. I was hoping the pixel 8 would fix the battery life issues a little bit, but it's even worse than the 7!
Such a terrible battery life is automatically a no-buy from me, never mind the poor general performance and the increased price from last gen.
