Anybody is facing heat up issues with the mobile as am facing. It gets heat up in just 10 minute call. Otherwise this is an excellent phone in terms of feature/performance/speed.
Jazza, 15 Sep 2008I have put Garmin Maps on mine and the GPS is super fast its faster than my tomtom so i dont k... morehow and where from did u get garmin? is it free?
...After reading your comments, my decision is made...i'll buy it...actually i was was making a small survey re E71 and its advantages since i liked it, but now i'm sure i'll buy it although i have the E61...
Okay, i huv read alot about the E71 and although i havent physically seen it, am impressed. My major dissapointment is on the menu icons from the photos i have seen. The icons look like sketches rather than the solid 3D feels icons on the E61i. What was Nokia up to!
I have put Garmin Maps on mine and the GPS is super fast its faster than my tomtom so i dont know what your all on about. As for everything els its GREAT i love it no faults found!!!
Does anyone know whether this is compatible with the Parrot 3200 LS Color, and if yes does it automatically update the phone numbers/
Thanks
Colin
I am thinking of Purchasing the E71, my boss has it and as I use SYNC alot I would like to know if anyone who has a MAC has been able to Sync with it? As I have a Mac computer now and my previous phone wouldn't Sync..
Cheers
HI! This E71 Phone is good, but keypad is small for a adult man & screen too small for the price. (Screen is just wide only & length is insufficient). Steel model attracts scratches & finger prints & black is not so attractive. White keypad is horrible as white light is not visible except in dark. Keypad for both,Steel & Black sets should have been made black for bright white light & should have been few millimeters big for comfortable spelling-free typing. Otherwise, the Phone is ok. Yet to verify if it has dual camera. Sadly no camera cover too.
As a power user, i.e., US$1,500 or more per month, with Vodafone, I was given a test model of the 71 and Bold to use in the beginning of August. Simply put, both have their advantages. The 71 is small and convenient. The Bold is email. And for me, that was the deciding factor. I needed an email device dependable all over the world, had the email connectivity AND the keyboard. The Bold has by far, the better keyboard. And to me, if you are want to buy a phone with a keyboard, then buy a phone that has the best keyboard.
hey E71 user. try EMOZE to sync all ur mails like google , yaho and ms excahnge and OWA mails. it works very well.
i tried it on my E71 and it works smooth
Purchased this phone late july. I am Very impressed. The best phone decision i've made to date. This is a much recommended business type phone. And it looks HOT...
can someone please walk me through on how to activate remote wipe? thanks.
Liked it...more than the E90...got the equaly strength w/ the E90 but more slim and easy to slide it in your back pocket... but yea... it's lack of BB connect but its okay...as long it's got WiFi...it's powerful enough...
the best phone i have ever owned. the previous best was the e61i. nokia congrats
Perfect but no Black Berry connect i am really vey disappointed by Nokia
I barely touch my computer since the E71 came here, so that says enough. But I have a concern about switching access points. I installed Fring, works amazingly flawless, even calls are hardly to distinguish from normal phone calls (it uses a Skype account). Question: this Fring has a connection manager: if you loose contact with one access point, it searches for a pre-installed other and it connects without hustle. Great when you go from work to home. Why can't the standard email client do the same? Or Nokia Email (beta)? Or did I miss something?
Iam searching front camera option but not found pls help!
The handset is having the good features, but i wish to take to this handset, but budget won't allow, it a very good job done by nokia good luck guys
I am about to purchase the E71 - 1 but am not sure if this is the correct phone for the price. Are there any problems with this phone? Also does it support Blackberry ? Should I be looking at the E90 as an option ? Thank You
i like the phone but the keypad is to small and packed enough to be used for a guy.. so i think the nokia e71 is made for the hot corporate ladies out there.. still prefer my e61i... good job nokia..
