Why is there no crop option for video?
All of these shots have been run through Zoner Photo Studio 15 - none are straight out of the camera for some inexplicable reason, so I suspect that's why they look so mushy.
In terms of camera capabilities, which phones does vivo v40 or v50 compete with? How high would it rank on something like DXOMARK? Would it even be listed there?

What other phones are you considering or find interesting in this price range though? The only phone on my radar currently is the A56, none of the available competitors offer as balanced of a package imo

And then I can go lower (depending on circumstances) with aptx adaptive (aptx lossless is part of that). They took my jack. They should give me a proper bluetooth equivalent. I will never buy a phone without a jack, if aptx lossless or better is not there. It is a matter of principle to me.

Below 300 kbps,
Opus@192kbps is the king. (Android support already available though TWS earbuds availability is sparse)
AAC@192kbps (2nd best after Opus. Even $10 Chinese TWS support AAC codec)

Unless you live in a country where Samsung provides the worst quality models of their phones.

Basically nearly doubly fast degradation.
I also didn't use any battery health tricks before but for my S22 Ultra and M31 I used the "Charge to 80%" feature and also let my battery drop down to only 20%. That's it. Don't talk to my about cycles lil bro.
Please stop coping or say you dont care too much about battery.

Currently im using realme 6 for 5 years and it's still decent. Before that I owned s7 edge, j5 prime, grand prime, samsung galaxy Tab 2. These were all great but they died fast. My dad's using m31 for 5 years as well but his phone's monster battery is now just a pussy cat, takes 3-4 hours to full charge and drains within 2 hours. My brother's s10+ died within a year. Now we are all using phones from different companies realme, Motorola, OnePlus. Anybody but samsung!

I'm ready to switch. If anything lags its the camera. It was never great and is now beyond terrible.
I get excited about these new releases but am too cheap to spend a lot.
