The price of this tablet is so close to regular tab s9 when its on sale. The entry ipad too is cheaper too. If only Xiaomi commits on better software support, I would consider this. Im quite disappointed with their pad 6 series, it only receive 1 OS update. I think I'll just wait for the s10 series price to go down once s11 comes out.

and joke aside if you look at pc screens they're all very wide yet they aren't made just to watch content, it's weird that tablets are somehow a working tool but desktop aren't

PureOS, 09 Jun 20253:2 aspect ratio is not so good. Why they switch from 16:10 of previous model.I have th big brother Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro and 3:2 is excellent. Not only horizontal but also vertical use. I use mine for office proposes.

the international version of the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro supports PC-level WPS. What dr... moreIt seems you are looking for at 2010-spec tablet.
Who gets a tablet and doesn't also have a smartphone? Hence NFC, GPS, SIM etc. is all redundant. If you still prefer cabled headphones then either get some with a USB C connector and attach an USB-C adapter at the end of you minijack . . .
Or better yet, get a tablet that has these redundant features and stop complaining about those that don't. I am very happy that I don't have to pay extra for nonsense that I wouldn't have any benefit of.
