Main camera hi res looks OK.
Tele be it 50mp or 200mp is disaster, oil painting, 10x zoom got some worms, but it looks way better.
Superwide hi res got vertical and horizontal lines in a grass like huawei on pavement, its disaster too, despite having more detail, its more of art than photo.
This just shows that if brand is unable to bring hi res or they bring it with disastrous side effects, there is a little difference, with one being able to bring at least some hi res, you can use it in some ways...but sometimes you may consider it good, while it will get you bad results...
So better stick to low res on it and you dont have to worry.

Lab tests??? Thats always what these sites do to try and hide the reality about how weak devices inside the United States have become!! The reality is the Vivo x300 pro, honor magic 8 pro, Oppo Find X9 Pro are so superior in every way to anything Samsung Google or Apple creates!!! They all 3 have better camera sensors (provided by Samsung) along with far superior battery technology and charging speeds!! While Samsung Google and Apple use small old camera sensors and then attempt to use software to replace the missing data the Global devices use the latest top end sensors that ironically are created by Samsung!! While Samsung continues utilizing their old small hp2 200mp sensor from the s23 (even in the s26 and upcoming zfold 8) Samsung then provides their Global competition with their top of the line much larger more capable Samsung 200mp HP5, HP9 and HPB to Vivo, Oppo and Honor. The monopoly that Samsung Google and Apple have been handed over the US consumers has allowed them to cut corners for increased profit margins to the point they have been generationally leaped by the global devices!!
Enonymous, 09 Nov 2025It's frustrating how much these companies charge for flagship phones, especially when the... moreaudio jack and expandable storage mention in the big 2025 😭😭😭😭😭
Since X300 is using the Asia version, editors, please retest the non-EU version of the X300 pro battery as well. It would be helpful to have an apple-to-apple comparison.
It's frustrating how much these companies charge for flagship phones, especially when they can't even maintain half of their performance for more than 10 minutes right out of the box. They eliminate the 3.5mm audio jack, pushing customers to spend more on higher storage models because there's no option for expandable storage. While they promise long-term software support but those updates often end up slowing down the phone, or worse, causing issues like a malfunctioning screen sometimes even brick them. As a result, people feel compelled to buy a new device sooner than they should have to.
Finally, Been waiting for this review. Really curious to see how the X300 Pro’s camera and performance stack up against the flagships from Samsung and Xiaomi.

X100 Ultra doesn't have the post-processing adjustment settings to begin with, and the only way to change the level of sharpening on that phone is to use alternative Zeiss color modes (Zeiss Textured has the least amount of sharpening baked in). You can achieve the same level of (lack of) sharpness on X300 Pro by simply bringing down the slider all the way down to 0 in auto mode regardless of what colour settings you use. Not only that, these settings are applied to every photo you take in auto mode by default, so once you change them you can completely forget about them.
"300 pro has more sharpening because even vivi knows hardware is much weaker"
Then explain to me how X200 Ultra, which uses a "weaker" main sensor than the one on X300 Pro, produces slightly less sharpened images by default.
Wesker, 07 Nov 2025One MINUTE better than the iPhone Air in the battery test ???? What in the ??everyone: "noooo why would anyone get the iphone air when they cut down the battery so much"
Vivo: "watch us waste a battery twice the size"
4.5 for this is very very generous
Compare battery life to x9 Pro 😂
xPandamon, 08 Nov 2025That battery life is pretty disappointing in 2025 and the speakers being underwhelming is sad.... moreExactly. This isn't a good rival to S25 Ultra.
That battery life is pretty disappointing in 2025 and the speakers being underwhelming is sad. I upgraded to my S25 Ultra because if the anti-reflective display and the speakers were part of the reasons too, I wouldn't want to downgrade from it again. As many disappointing things as the S25 Ultra has, as a whole package, it's just so well rounded. What good would the nice camera here be for me if the speakers are such a downgrade? At that price point too, which isn't quite worth it here.
Camera has a feature called raw lighting which decreases AI processing dramatically and the results are much better. I just checked it with my vivo x300 pro.
The cameras are generally very good with a lot of customization options. However, i've watched numerous reviews and one thing i dislike about Vivo's x300 series photos is the portraits and human subject photos and the 'painting' effect on photos of human subjects. Vivo has increased this way more on the x300 series compared to the x200 series and even whwn all beautification modes are switched off its there. I tried taking multiple photos of myself and it couldn't restore facial details as it automatically does some smoothing effect when it detects faces. A number of youtubers have also pointed this out. For that reason and the battery i'd prefer the OPPO find x9 or find x9 pro. It doesn't do this artificial smoothing and gives much more natural pictures of human subjects. Comparing the samples here too you can see much more detail on the human subject photos and portraits from OPPO. I wish Vivo gave the option to disable this as it has become much more pronounced in the x300 series compared to the last two generations. I know the majority of their customers are female and probably like it but i still think they should give an option to disable it
Xo, 07 Nov 2025Wello some of us dont know how to tweak things we want dlsr experience out of the box vivo people also thought adjusting for each shot was one step overboard. That's until vivo made them adjust postprocess bs in order to get a normal looking image that doesn't look like 12th grader had way too much fun in Lightroom. Funny thing is X300 how has Natural Light mode which is a fancy name for non-hdr, no shrapening, no agressive noise reduction mode

300 pro has more sharpening because even vivi knows hardware is much weaker. And had to compensate with very wrong action.
All brands should offer raw and jpeg with ZERO sharpening.
Same for videos
