Is something wrong with my math? If you add up all the points, Renoir is clearly the winner of this shootout. Although numbers are not the best indication of "Best" or "Worst", I don't understand why some people here are proclaiming the Innov8 as the winner.
It's Renoir for me ~ can't wait to get my hands on it this weekend.
Firstly thanx for the great shootout GSM Arena
In my opinion the quality of these phones is such that 95% of users wouldn't care about the daylight picture difference. But at least 50% of us would take photos in low light where a flash is needed and unfortunately cameraphone flashes lag MASSIVELY behind dedicated cameras. The next BIG STEP for cameraphones is not 10 or 12 megapixels but a POWERFUL FLASH. (note fill-in flash photography in daylight is an essential feature for a decent camera)
Based on the review, going on technical/camera merit alone, it appears that LG Renoir is the handset of choice. Now if LG can work just a little bit harder on usability, Renoir would have dominated this comparison test...
Thank you GSMArena for your continious customer support and hard work on keeping your website up and running strong.
I really enjoyed this article and am happy you are by our side :-)

Since most of my pictures are taken at night goin... morec905: 79
what about costs $$$
c905: $679 - $699
Innov8: $749 - $899
Pixon: $750 - $800
Renoir: $520 - $600
SE and LG looks like good buys
z, 06 Nov 2008no matter how good those phones can go, still cant beat a DSLR camera...no matter how good your DSLR can go, still cant send any short message...
(perhaps it got no reception, out of coverage area maybe... hehehe...)
whether it be renoir or innov8 or c905 or pixon - its good compared to that stupid $900 N96.
Hhhhhmmmmm, so Samsung has finally captured the top spot. INNOV8 looks good and it takes good pics too. Nice job GsmArena, you guys are really the best.
But I hope there will be a blind poll test like the last time to judge which phone's camera is really the best. Because last time it was funny that most of the SE users and fans voted for N95 cause they thought it was K850. hahaha......
If the camera is a main selling point for the user; c905 doesn't have competition. Would you buy a stand-alone camera that didn't have a proper flash? It gets out-done in daylight(barely) but, think about how many of your photos require a flash.....
Most people post pictures online, or browse them on the phone.
Tiny details at full resolution is POINTLESS.
What matters most, if you are going to share photos digitally, is colour accuracy, camera flash, video, speed, and user experience.
Like the reviewer said, take your pick....
If you take party pictures with Flash and fast image browsing, C905...
If you like higher-res Videos, LG (but i dont recommend LG phones)...
If you like touch screen, Samsung...
Thank you for this great work Gsm Arena ur the best and about the best camera phone i say the innov8 i have it and i love it and cant wait for the LG KC910 Renoir then iam set again thank u gsm arena
PhoneArena says that Samsugn INNOV8 and pixon are best cameraphones.
GSMArena says that LG Renoir has the best camera.
Which one do I have to believe?
However, Renoir, Pixon and INNOV8 aren't scheduled to released in Korea... Damn!
Eldar Murtazin(Mobile-Review) and Anton Spiridonov(Smape) said that Samsung i8510 INNOV8 are the best phone ever with ultimate camera quality. Now, GSMArena prove it for the best camera quality today(please, read the review)
Samsung i8510 the only perfect solution for mobile users.
Two Thumbs Up !!!
Highly RECOMMENDED !!!
well first of all great job gsm!congrats!
secondly i knew innov is gonna coz itz d best set out dere!
yes i am a nokia fanatic! but i wil never say that 958gb would beat it! no way no how bcause these are 8mp monsters!
yes yes i know nokia is really lagging behind this mp race but who knows they might be waiting for a grand daddy of nseries!
we must not forget that nokia n95 was the pioneer of 5mp(except for lg something which was an awful handset)
and n95 was unchallenged almost for an year so we must not under estimate Nokia!
yes but for now innov8 is the king! but who knows how long will it stay on the Throne!
Haha When i saw this review i was thinking that something missing and yes NO NOKIA phones around haha
And yet the Nokia Fans still trying to say there Nokia is better but i can't seem to find any 8mp Nokia phone around????
Anyway just in case those Nokia Fanatics come say i'm S.E or LG or Samsung user your completely wrong I'm a Sharp User yes i use Japanese phone which is much better than any other phones
lG renoir has the best camera and photo quality another time, it features all that I want, I'll buy a renoir
Verrrrrry big thanx gsmarena, continue comme ça (french is so good)
