I was using a N-73 Music Edn. Phone of Nokia. But,unfortunately, it was lost. Now I think of buying another phone N-series. Which will be better for me, Samsung-Touchwiz or Nokia N-79? Please some one suggest me.

Bought the N79 about two weeks back. Its one heck of a phone boasting of all the features I could ask for and more.Especially the touchpad control which gives it a more ipodish feel. The camera does have some issues.The photographs are way to pixellated for a 5MP camera.My N70 used to give smoother images.Hopefully Nokia will fix this with a firmware update??
Besides that theres the problem of limited RAM.The processor is fine but the phone is prone to regularly slowing down.That said however, I can hardly blame nokia for skimming on the RAM when the price tag is so unbelieveable.Great Phone in every ther respect.Only thing is....I havent seen too many people with it.Why is that?

N79, got it since december 08. never regret it even for a day. i say its a sleeper hit, the kind of phone that nobody seems to comment much about since it has almost no commonly found problem. The batt life is marvellous and the form factor and weight is just great. in the age of big phones it is refreshing to own a compact one like this.

Bought N79 last week Petrol Black for Rs.17400 in India. Awesome phone and brilliant features. Nokia Rocks!

PLZ HELPPP i got the n79 black and it has everything exept for the fm transmitter
in the users manual and options it exists and they say go options>fm transmitter
but its just not there i think it got deleted somehow does somebody know how can i get it back plz help

Doesn't get any better than this! . I had this phone for about 3 weeks! Haven't seen any flaws. Rock solid performance. No moving parts. Best Nokia phone. This will become a legendary phone, no doubt about it!

i m thinking about buying this fone, i hav the SE w810i and i was think of upgrading it to N79. so can anyone tell me is this fone worth it or shud i keep using w810i due to the flaws in N79.

i saw the petrol black colour available in this phonet looks sexy.but i dont think its available in india so gonna wait ultill it is im surely gettin this cell.

I´m using N79 for 2 months now, and it´s the best phone I ever had.
- Battery lasts 4 days: every day 2 hours of WLAN, 30 minutes phoning, 10 photos
- very good reception and speaking quality
- good build quality, no creaks

My nearest Nokia shop is 140 miles away! The mobile phone industry needs to be open to scrutiny. It isnt. Its shrouded in mystery. How many phones are churned out which arnt even fit for purpose! Design faults that a 10 year old could tell you wont last 5 mins! So called 'smart phones' that are more buggy than a tramps sleeping bag! Etc etc! The mobile phone people are making a killing and getting away with murder! And no one it seems, gives a damn! Sure there are good devices out there, but finding them is pot luck!
