hello!
I bought the Cookie yestarday! its great phone! I just have 2 problems!
firstly, some website r ok but when Im trying to open gmail, for example, it shows "secure connection failed"! this is just for some website, others r ok, therefore I dont understand what is the problem!
and the second: its not making bluetooth connection with my Nokia!
maybe u have some solutions or advises for theses problems!

fabulous review. Though I must say, when you said that the camera was fantastic, I wanted to hurl my laptop. It's soo not true. xD

2/2/09....This phone is soooo cool and im getting it for my birthday on the 17 of februrary and i realy cant wait as well as iv been on youtube and looked at the kp 500 known as the cookie and there is an lg dare,lg vu,lg veiwty black,lg renoir.CANT WAIT!

Only if the audio quality of the Cookie blended into the Renoir then I would purchase the Renoir.
(Here come a stack of lame Cookie jokes). This is surely one yummy Cookie full of sweet chocolate chips.

Good budget affordable touchscreen. Not many other handsets like this, so I can see why this is a hit.

I'm aware of the great firmware update tutorial in http://www.mylgcookie.com/index.php/topic,337.0.html.
My question is: have you tried it yourself? I live in the Philippines, is the v10n firmware update compatible with the networks there? Where can I download the v10c+24?

I had this mobile for around one month and now it is in the reparation center, is the worst mobile i ever had, talking about performance: freezes, restart, and finally, died, dont buy it until it had a better firmware which colud stop the problems

BTW you could already update your phone so it wouldn't have anymore of the restart bug. got 2 versions to choose from already v10c+24 and v10n =)

Finally, a review from GSMArena.
But I was disappointed that they did not mention the restart bug. It's hard to ignore the fact that many Cookie owners experience the bug. I hope an official firmware update will be posted on the LG website soon.

Of course fixed focus makes us sad, also no led flash, no wi-fi, low video resolution, no flash player, etc etc etc. But you still get more than what youre paying for!!!
