Hello Sir Good Morning
Sir can i get black/red body of this set (sony ericsson w995).
This phone has a great package such as camera[s], media and manymore.
sony ericsson is totally cant make it.. since years it take so long to release a phone.. better keep those under till the date of release..
oh man. this looks like a piece of garbage lol
HTC FTW!!!!
Well well well..Sony Ericsson Idou...an interesting fact: here in Pakistan, recently, we DONT have SE, or motorola in the market...the only majors are nokia nd samsung....nd others are lg, HTC etc...SE has leaked their fone but samsung will RELEASE their 12mp in the next 3 months maybe...
back in its day,2006 end..the N95 bought a revolution with its 5mp camera...did Sony ericsson ever do that, despite its CYBERSHOT logo on every fone it released since 2007??
I must prefer the 3.5mm adaptor. I have the W995 which has a 3.5mm jack, and use my standard headphones with it, but when the phone rings, I need to take the headphones out to talk. Or get a handsfree with 3.5mm but then I can't use my Sennheisers. With the adapter, I have no such problem, I can use my Sennheiser phones and still talk without removing them when a call comes in. Much more practical with the adapter, after all it's a phone so you want to use it for talk than only listening to music
your opinions please..shall i buy x1 or wait for the idou? also, anyone know when idous will be in saudi arabia market? urgent!
finally, the microSD in a SE. the only thing that prevented me to consider SE as an option although they always had some good phones.
I saw a few pics of the Idou on some blog site. There's one which shows handwriting recognition. So, i've got this doubt whether this is a capacitive or a resistive touchscreen.. I was under the impression its capacitive, but guess not.. since, this also comes with a stylus, i'm tending to think it's resistive.. please correct me if i'm wrong :) love the phone though!
cad, 24 Feb 2009the 3.5mm earphone jack adaptor is a good idea, but the problem is, when you lose the adaptor,... morei think u have to wake up... if u can loose ure adaptor there is no way you cant loose your fone too...
proud owner of X1 but this idou or whatever its name will be is just astonishing (12.1MPX, 3.5", Media Go, play now arena and symbian OS)
SE is on the right track to take over ur world :D
its ok
fascinating phone, nokia is for nothing
12MP camera? haha funny marketing guys...not even a compact digital camera cannot handle so many MP with decent results... oh i forgot: this target group doesn't even know what "noise" means...

Walkman phones always come with 3.5mm adaptors on their headsets.
Only this time, they relocated it to the phone itself.
The option has always been availible.
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2009I find it hilarious how so many people complain about no walkman's coming with a 3.5mm audio j... morethe 3.5mm earphone jack adaptor is a good idea, but the problem is, when you lose the adaptor, there's no other way to use it....the Walkman series phones are phones dedicated to music....and when think about it, all MP3 players regardless of the brand comes with 3.5mm earphone jacks....it is the standard earphone plug....every other brands like Nokia, Samsung, and even Motorola and HTC are making handsets with 3.5mm earphone jacks....wake up
I find it hilarious how so many people complain about no walkman's coming with a 3.5mm audio jack, yet they all come with a 3.5mm adapter in the box....strange people.
I just dont understand why is sonyericsson so fond of tiny buttons, I mean look at the W995, or the W902(the CALL and END keys),or the W880, or even its updated model, the W890, they all have small buttons thats hard to use....3H*T.....3.5mm audio jack and 8 megapixel lens is a good news though....
I have the Nokia 5800 XM and it's a freaking good phone. I also have my X1 for gps and sms typing use. Both are great phones but , in terms of camera, i don't think nokia can match up with SE. Still, let us remember that Sony has a Cybershot/Camera company division. Therefore, it is normal they are possible to archieve such a performance and quality in terms of camera but nokia's software is far better.
everything on this phone is perfect
