At last, SE finally grew some brains and put in a 3.5 mm jack in a Walkman phone. Now, we will wait for the next models with 3.5 mm jack with lower prices. This initial salvo is bound to be VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE.

i checked out a video preview of w995,
It shows that the camera application has Best Pic in there, previously reserved for cybershot series. The media gallery also looks beautiful, and very speedy. The walkman 4.0 seems to be still in development tho... which means there should be more to look forward to!
W995 is going to be the equivalent of w800 back in the day =P

Se should now forget about the megapixel race and think about updating their video recording capabilities! 12 is just a ridiculous amount on a phone, and after processing will likely take a while for you to take the next shot. I am in love with the screen tho. (*_*)

The Idou seems to be an amazing device. Too bad, just like the xperia, by the time it gets released (10 years from now, lol), there would be other phones that are better, and it would be old news. SE really needs to do something with their launch and release dates. They tend to launch a product at a very early stage, and then release it 10 yrs later after everyone else have figured out a way to beat it, lol. Oh well.

you people make too much predictions, just watch the idou rise, the C905 alredy has an 8mp and now theres the W995 with a 8 mp, nokia doesnt have experience building cameras compared to sony, who are experts in cameras, and the SE media player practically owns all media players, you would know if you have seen it in action... just get your facts right before commenting on other phones

se 12mp is a concept.till it will be released other manufactures will have also released 12 mp. in the next few months nokia n86 is going to be the best cameraphone.
