After reading this in-depth review I realize how great a phone it is, but cut to the chase, how much will it cost? What carrier will it be on? And when will it be released in stores? These are critical issues that need to be at least speculated on.

I think the only problem wit these phones is the response speed to touch. they haven't beaten the iphone on that up to now which is sad. and I think the iphone makes the user's interaction with it more entertaining even with its limited features. other than that this OmniaHD seems to have it over N97 and Idou hands down. then again lets see what level it lives up to when it releases in May....
hope they don't release as expensive as the Omnia did though... that was ridiculous!!

Symbian isn´t boring, it is a software fast and with thousands of applications, much more than the crap of the windows mobile. The CEO of Microsoft said in my country that Nokia can sell many phones but nobody would want to use the sofware of them. what a perfect foolishness declared by the Microsoft CEO.

tried it using my friend's omnia.

first up, the specs are indeed impressive.

however, the navigation is irritating.. its not nearly "real-time" enough for me, to think that i was using the stylus all the time.

java implementation is pathetic (m-class, i think).. you can't run flash from ordinary websites (likes www.youtube.com). instead, it relies on flashsites specifically made for mobile (m.youtube.com). there are workarounds for it but it is such a hassle.

                              t-mobile apps store is cumbersome.

you cant install java apps/games right up the start, will need to have a java installer 'installed' on your device first.

i did liked the HD video and the 8mb camera.

there are a lot of workarounds for application-related issues (forgot to mention the phone had significant slow-down when i multi-tasked 2 applications) i mentioned but the one thing you cant improve upon is the ease of user interface.

i loved the specs, i hated the UI.

You are right!! And Windows Mobile is THE best multi-tasker for a "multimedia" phone.

Heres another link stating good news for WinMo fans. We will have to wait until Windows Mobile 6.5 is finished before seeing a WinMo Omnia HD, but at least it looks promising so far.

Since I for one like the look and feel of Windows Mobile much more.

Symbian is boring and looks slower than Windows Mobile.

I think this is one of the few times a company will release two different O/S for the same phone. If this is true then /congradulate Samsung for doing everything right.

Does anyone know the delay for the camera. I tried the Sony C905 and the delay from starting the camera to taking a photo was huge, nearly as bad as my N95, I tried the Pixon and it was SO much faster, felt like it could actually be used as a camera.

Is this phone quick like the Pixon or slow like the C905 and the Innov8?
