According to Samsung official site (http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa/jsp/faqs/faqs_view_us.jsp?AT_ID=156275&PROD_ID=35&PG_ID=-1&PROD_SUB_ID=0) say this particular phone's SIM1 only has EDGE support. Here is the extract from their specification. What about that? Btw I am using it with my GNU/Linux machine and the net speed is really good.
GPRS : SIM2 (Class 10)
EDGE : SIM1 (Class 10, EDGE download only)

samsung 5212 is totally ok but negative thing is it wouldnt possible for call or messege from both sims i have two sims one 4 calling anothe r for msseging i am facing problem that again and again i hav to switch pof mobile for active another no for call/msg

great phone-but one of the weakest batteries ive ever seen!!!!

after my Samsung 3310 , i have a Samsung duos (c5212) and a am quite happy with this set.it's picture quality, sound, battery,camera,hardiness,etc are far better than Nokia.But i have only a problem with this set, maximum (99%) mp4 videos are not supported in this phone.

recently bought a Samsung c5212. in instruction manual showing RDS enabled in this phone. but m searchin the settings there is no RDS option. after switched on the radio m searching the setting here also no the RDS fuction.. anybody knows plz guide me, i want to use this option..

i use a samsung c5212.i tried to install a jar file( dictionary and bible) but it was not successful. after converting the jar file to jad file, i transfer ed the two file into my phone. i got this message when i tried to install. "JAR file is over max size". what does this mean? pls help me thanks

Its best avoided to use both sims while using samsung pc suit

Guys c5212 has max size of jar file limit of 400kb. to increase it. exit all menus. dial *#52828378# -java test menu-select 6-ota test-enter 2048kb instead of 400kb-save & exit.
