The lack of codec support is not a big deal as long as MediaGO can transcode any video file of any format to one that is playable on the phone.

Also, not everyone likes a smartphone. An appealing, fast and fluid UI is more welcome to users like me than the "possibility" to install some apps (that most users won't bother to).

Lastly, I have a question: which headset was your test unit supplied with? Was it an HPM 77 or the newer, noise canceling ones?

Would GSM Arena be so kind to update us on review of the MediaGo sync for w995? And also, whats actually new in walkman 4.0, besides the skinning support?

JaCoB...,Kuwait, 07 Mar 2009u sure will cuz w995 comes with the mediaGo that can convert videos and audios to alot of thin... moreoooh! That could save alot of hair pulling xD

The trouble I've went thru to convert videos into AVI files for Viewty, but none of them working due to aspect ratio, codec errors, poor audio syncing, or over-compression.

          MediaGO sounds awesome

If u want to compare N86 with this...we can also see poor(plasticy) build quality , Old(N81)style, exact copy of N85 with 8mp,slow symbian OS....y all bad things abt w995 only.
              Loved something fresh from SE.

One last thing. I don't understand why SE still use the same FM radio interface they used back in the W800. It needs updating, or even better, added as part of the media center. It feels really detatched and outdated where it is currently. I wanna see things like visualisations, advanced RDS information, and wallpaper theme animation-- the one they have currently is WAY too basic for a Walkman and this is a negative point for me.

After testing one of these out myself, I'm impressed too. I personally didn't find the keypad very comfortable at all though. The keys are tiny and I kept making mistakes typing. Also, the soft keys are great but pressing the make call/end call keys makes the phone tilt if it's on a flat surface as they're right at the edges.

However I like the design, BRILLIANT camera, GPS, Wifi, stereo speakers...this will be my next!!
