bummy, 07 Mar 2009I've read thru the review again.... Can't find any extra info on MediaGO or Walkman 4.0
here u can find alot of things about MediaGo ..., these r what i know about the MediaGo :
Media Go™ Makes it easy to bring your media with you
Transfer, play and organise – with Media Go™ you can easily transfer music, videos, photos and podcasts between your mobile phone and computer
Automatic sync – sync your music playlists automatically to keep the phone updated with your new music
Auto convert – Media Go™ gives you the best quality playback of multi-media content on a mobile phone. There’s no need to use extra applications to be able to bring your media with you.
SensMe™ - create a playlist of songs in your library, you can also sort your music by mood or tempo
Podcasts – it has never been easier to subscribe and download podcasts. Apart from adding your own favourites, the directory is there to help you to find the new and exciting content.
Audio CD ripping – Use Media Go™ to burn your CDs and bring your music and audio books with you .... and it will be in 15 languages :P
as for the walkman still didnt get anythin more that u already know and read in the review ..
hope that helped :)
Looks like my N95 8gb made by Sony Ericsson, but why have they not been bothered about the video player
I've read thru the review again.... Can't find any extra info on MediaGO or Walkman 4.0
Would GSM Arena be so kind to update us on review of the MediaGo sync for w995? And also, whats actually new in walkman 4.0, besides the skinning support?
JaCoB...,Kuwait, 07 Mar 2009u sure will cuz w995 comes with the mediaGo that can convert videos and audios to alot of thin... moreoooh! That could save alot of hair pulling xD
The trouble I've went thru to convert videos into AVI files for Viewty, but none of them working due to aspect ratio, codec errors, poor audio syncing, or over-compression.
MediaGO sounds awesome
bummy, 06 Mar 2009only down fall is no divX? i can live with that :)u sure will cuz w995 comes with the mediaGo that can convert videos and audios to alot of things ... hope i helped :)
If u want to compare N86 with this...we can also see poor(plasticy) build quality , Old(N81)style, exact copy of N85 with 8mp,slow symbian OS....y all bad things abt w995 only.
Loved something fresh from SE.
Great Review and also da fone..
gud luks and very charming spec sheet..
For same price i am going for n86,,qvga recording still in a top of range device plus no operating system????
One last thing. I don't understand why SE still use the same FM radio interface they used back in the W800. It needs updating, or even better, added as part of the media center. It feels really detatched and outdated where it is currently. I wanna see things like visualisations, advanced RDS information, and wallpaper theme animation-- the one they have currently is WAY too basic for a Walkman and this is a negative point for me.
bummy, 06 Mar 2009only down fall is no divX? i can live with that :)Me too! You just need to convert videos using free tools. It's not hard =)
ITs a great review, but i hope that SE is going to improve lots of things before it release
i have not seen a difference between Walkman 3.0 and 4.0 . looks the same
Hey! why is my "Second" post deleted???
anyways abut this phone, looks great but the bottom line is that it fails in what it is trying to deliver?? its ust a fancy walkman phone with an unusual Mp
Great Review !!
this is really nice mobile phone :D
this is a sign that the next Walkman and Cybershot will be much more better hand-sets xD
Thanks for the Review GSMArena ^_^
After testing one of these out myself, I'm impressed too. I personally didn't find the keypad very comfortable at all though. The keys are tiny and I kept making mistakes typing. Also, the soft keys are great but pressing the make call/end call keys makes the phone tilt if it's on a flat surface as they're right at the edges.
However I like the design, BRILLIANT camera, GPS, Wifi, stereo speakers...this will be my next!!
