I rang 02 today here in the UK and asked when they are releasing the Samsung i8910, guess what they said? they said they have NO plans to stock it at all!
looks like i will be getting the Nokia N97 instead then, mind you, seeing as they wont change the Audio Codec instead of using their current "garbage" - i guess it really doesn't matter
Anyone out there know when this is coming out in the PH (Philippines)? Thanks in advance!
so, upgrading my mobile phone from Nokia N95 8GB to a Samsung Omnia HD is pointless! the video and audio are very good on my Nokia, i really wanted this NEW Samsung phone, but with an AMR Codec, what the hell is the point now? shame on you Samsung, how much money will that save you, great screen and that is it! absolutely terrible
Anonymous, 25 May 2009are they still going to release this phone with the rubbish Audio Codec???Its not "are they goin" they already released it in UK and it use the low AMR audio codec for videos
are they still going to release this phone with the rubbish Audio Codec???
Does anybody know if the handwriting recognition on the Omnia HD works with a stylus.
Thanks in advance.
whatever it take to get this phone..it wil be soon in my hand..any neews on when it wil be arriving in singapore?
WorL, 23 May 2009does it have a document editor or does it just have a document viewer?I believe its just a viewer. I believe there is a program that allows you to edit. but that will cost money :(
I'm really impressed with the outstanding features it carries and i say this is a combination of I-phone and N-97's compatibility !!! It'll really solves my problems I'm sure!! and i would go for this phone with no doubt from puremobile!! Its coming soon!! :D
is it easy to install softwares?
in last models i tried to install but i couldnt
I guess puremobile has the total detailed phone !! Guys do you think this is better than 3GI-phone
Its not that clear the video for a HD handset its a bit of a disapointment really, the same quility as VGA and not even 30 frames per second,
looks horrible, the screen and response issues and the menu layout is plain and unexciting, the hd capabilities are not quite what they were supposed to be,think this phone got way too much hype in its initial release stage
the phone is available on Orange Network here in the UK !!
but have they fixed the Poor Audio Problem?
i guess we will have to wait and see when people start sending them back as Faulty to Orange!
come on Samsung, why oh why have you done this?
So did they fix the audio in the final unit or what?
Its an amazing phone and almost the perfect phone expect the CRAP Audio Quality when you record videos
