During phone calls, is the touch screen active?
In other models/brands during calls, i've 'accidently' hung on people because my ear touched the screen.
Massive touchscreen flaw if ever from a end-users POV.
informer, 02 Jun 2009hi, please someone answer that very interesting question:
->is it possible (by touchscreen)... morewell we dont know yet
but i think you can accept ur calls by touching
if you cant dont forget that u get a bluetooth headset and plus you can do the any button to answer option so its not that big deal :)
btw sony isnt stupid to forget a small thing like this :)
hi, please someone answer that very interesting question:
->is it possible (by touchscreen), to answer a call when the phone is closed?
when yes, how and please someone give a screenshot for an incoming call
the UI icons seem really lame, kinda remind me of the old boring samsung ones, not like SE at all. apart from that this looks nice.
poor, 01 Jun 2009This phone would have been perfect if it were slimmer, had 3.5mm audio jack, more interesting ... morelol you cant have everything you know ?
the phone is great and SE is not gonna stop working or selling the phone cuz you dont like it and you want everything in it :P
if it was for me i just want to make the web touchable if it isnt on the phone and accepting calls thats all :)
sure goona buy it lol :)
didnt mean to disrespect you or anything but thats just my way :)
This phone would have been perfect if it were slimmer, had 3.5mm audio jack, more interesting backside, touchscreen implemented everywhere, and if it were set to be released this summer.
Unfortunately it's fat, has no audio jack, has the plainest backside we see nowadays, touchscreen can be used only in multimedia menu and it will be released in October~!
Altamash, 30 May 2009SE has really changed their strategy n plans.. Large screen, better UI, good cam+good music is... moreWith the Sony slider phones I have used, you can either slide open to answer or press a button to answer. I'd expect this phone to work that way as well.
what a weird design. the end/call keys and navigation pad are also in the slide out keypad, making the phone too long.
and finally vga video recording from SE. and using microsd instead of memory stick? nice move.
phone looks meh.
but it is showing some interesting features- such as the stereo buetooth radio headset
The phone looks nice! It has been a pretty long time since the last time I could say that... u.u. (w610i?)
SE has really changed their strategy n plans.. Large screen, better UI, good cam+good music is very much unlike SE... Will have to wait n watch... But guys one question... If we get a call, do we have to slide the phone to answer? or yet do we have to slide press green call key to answer? can the screen be touched to recieve a call or to decline it??
Anonymous, 29 May 2009first widescreen and touchscreen. but what was xperia?dear!
xperia is a smart phone where the large screen on Aino is a first in their feature phone product line.
Aino is realy a great device but why can't the screen be "touchable" everywhere else except the media and camera screens? Maybe than the keyboard would be useless but.... why not?? :(
YOu missed that it comes with a BT headset with inbulit FM radio .so you can finbakky have a wieless headset and still radio!!!
It also comes with a very stylish deskstand for both the phone and headset to charge in.
I love it already, the white one is super sexy!
