My suggestion to you N97 better than Touch Pro2.... i m n97 user now...
hey i cant decide between the htc touch pro2 and nokia n97 .. i am getting mixed reviews .. so can some one please tell me wat is there in a windows phone that is not avbl in a symbian o.s .
i did a live demo of the Pro2
i loved it bcoz i love windows mobile and this is the best ever however i found these drawbacks
touch screen still far behind the I phone
the camera is modest
the calender is so primitive..
No major advanntage in the the new OS
the processor is still slow..
So if you are a windows mo user this is the best till now
Gadgetz, 30 Jun 2009It's available in Indo with price approx USD 875, compared to N97 only USD 775. I'd really lov... moreNot sure why you even considered TP2 if camera is so important because other than the camera and internal memory, the TP2 is many times the superior to N97 in terms of hardware. Software on the other hand is a matter of preference. So if camera is so important then take N97. If better keyboard, bigger screen are more immediate priorities, then the TP2.
It's available in Indo with price approx USD 875, compared to N97 only USD 775. I'd really love with Touchpro2 design, but too bad that there are no flash in the camera. Really need to test the quality of the camera, otherwise, I'd be better off to choose N97...what do you think.??? =)
I live in Europe and here Touch Pro2 is about 50$ cheaper then N97. I will probably buy it, because it has Windows Mobile, but if you are not a fan of Windows Mobile N97 might be a better solution.
i think this is best of HTC phone...
and good for men that have big hands and tall fingers ;)
this is very bettr than iPhone and other finger touch phones...
Anonymous, 19 Jun 2009I heard the touch pro2 will be running at $800.00 unlocked of course, for me, that's a bit muc... moreI would say, if you're not a power user, and really don't want to spend 800 on a phone but you want a full QWERTY slide out keyboad, the N97 should be a better bet. Do bear in mind the Touch Pro 2 has a larger screen, higher resolution screen and a better keyboard. The N97 compensates with bigger internal storage and better camera. So other than price it depends on personal preference.
I heard the touch pro2 will be running at $800.00 unlocked of course, for me, that's a bit much. I just purchased a high end 4GB RAM (450GB memory) notebook for $700 with loads of other features. I was looking forward to this phone, but the price is so damn high. I look forward to the Nokia N97 in a few months then. I can wait. there is a site that use some good info about the touch pro2, http://www.AllTouchPro2.com i want to hear what your view is on this smart phone.
you mention that it only have about 300mb memory, and memory card should be recommended, which seems very reasonable. however, i'm unable to find if it can use 16gb microSDHC or only up to 8gb. have you tried, or can you try, successfully with a 16gb card?
DENNY LEE, 07 Jun 2009I liked design htc touchn pro2 Why still coming soon Depending on where you are, the phone is already available for sale. Very pricey compared to N97 which is surprisingly cheap for the specs. I wouls say retail price maybe 150 to 200 US$ cheaper than the Touch Pro 2.
If you're in the US, the reason its slow is due to the structure of the market. Usually new phones are "distributed" or "sold" through carriers. Subsidized phones are nice but some consumers prefer to buy retail versions. Hence why its still not in the US and why its available in some markets.
nice nice phone, why did i buy the nokia 5800XM???why??why???diamond 2 is my next phone....or this??!!
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2009Another WinMo phone without any multimedia features!Did you even read the review?

some folks says if the OS was Andriod i would buy it
but what i see is Business Mobile,,, Good Job HTC but this device is not for everyone.
