The Sony Ericsson interface & the Xenon flash are the main selling point & so is Symbian Foundation but it is not running Symbian foundation only s60 v5, I want a Smartphone with Xenon flash but i dont think this is the one for me.
There is no kinetic scrolling on the symbian part (menu, sms) there is also no word suggestion / correction like on Win mobile & android & having used win mobile (not that good) the main reason I use it is for the messaging suggestion / correction you can text 5 times faster.

Thamie, 07 Jun 2009the phone is not that exciting,,there improvements though but just not it..And can you please shed some light on your statement that why is not this phone that much exciting???What does this set lack that is present in other high end sets by nokia or samsung???
I think you are not in your senses, what more a set can do for you?What will make it exciting for you??A set that will make call just when you think or the one that will make free calls anywhere in the world??

bummy, 07 Jun 2009stop complaining about the noise... Look at the 100% crop btwn samsung, and Satio(idou)... ... moreno 100% crop of satio sucks. they should just focus at around 3-5mp simply because the sensor size is too small that anything more is just plain marketing

Satio is good.. maybe ill wait for this one..

Look at the 100% crop btwn samsung, and Satio(idou)... even at 100% its already better.
When final version is out, and if you decide to scale down the picture to 8mp comparison, the quality will be perfect.

@ all you people complaining about the camera noise:
be aware that this phone is STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, and therefore does not represent the final retail product.
from what i have seen, it looks good. and 2 big thumbs up for finally giving flash browser support.
and well the VGA resolution is good, but i would personally like to see higher resolutions on future handsets

Not bad considering the Cam and the phone looks. Otherwise resolution ain't that high compared to my X1 800x480 & build Quality X1 is of no match tbh. Looks like a pass 4 me (Symbian OS...nah) till X2 comes out with WM7 or android 2.0. I loved the idou name as it was more catchy.
I know i'll buy it when i get to see/try it for real :D loool

clipse, 06 Jun 2009Please guys, are you seriously telling me you consider the pics made with this phone's camera ... moreactually the sensor size increased here to a small 1/2.5", the c905 had an even smaller sensor.This size dates back to archaic digital cameras and low end P&S

To the ones complaining about noise, tint and whatever on the pictures; If you´re concerned about those issues, a camphone is not recommended for you (at least for the camera). Stop and think; what for do you really need a 12 Mp sensor on a phone? Photograph the moon? Brag about it? This is just about the "who´s the biggest" in the mobile market and right now, i would trade those 12 Mp for a smaller sensor, divx support, an Fm transmitter or voice guided gps...
