End of July and no B7610 on Europe market :(
The Jet, Omnia II and Omnia Pro all have 800MHz S3C6410 processors with 256MB of RAM.
I hope the release date is soon, too.
I was just about buying tp2 when I saw omnia pro.. the choice for me was quite obvious. This phone was announced for July release in Belgium on samsung Belgian website, sadly nothing is know yet. Recently in some Polish news I read that Polish release date is scheduled on VI quarter (but with wm 6.5 onboard)which made me a bit angry (the date, not the os version of course. :>) I waited so long for tp2, then switched to omnia pro and still have to wait some more. the horror.. the horror.. BTW was it somewhere oficialy confirmed how much RAM would be on omnia pro? some people say 256, while early news mentioned only 128.
Regards.
CApital$im, 23 Jul 2009Hello gsmarena... I appreciated the review... I just have one small nitpick. When you were mak... moreActually they are just saying that the Jet provides capacitive-like experience, not an actual capacitive screen. That's quite an achievement for Samsung indeed.
Andrew Tan, 23 Jul 2009Chinese company not means will produce ugly and bad quality phone. HTC is Taiwan company, ... moreI believe that diamond is very ugly. The most beautiful of all HTC cell phones i think that is the HD... But, you cant support that HTC is better than Samsung... SAMSUNG is the BEST!!!
Hello gsmarena... I appreciated the review... I just have one small nitpick. When you were making a comparision of the sensitivity of the touchsceen technolgy of the device, you documented that the Samsung s8000 uses capacative as oppose to the resistive. However i think it uses resitive as well. From what i understand it uses a r-resistive technology the same as the model u did a preview of.. Other than that wonderful preview... And if i am wrong i have absolutey no problem and i am sorry if i am for possibly misguiding you with this information.
And thanks for being the best gsm sight fo mobile phones.

HTC is Taiwan company, not China company which only knew to copycat and cloning.
I never take HTC because it always over price and speed wise never better than others (I mean in same range)
But HTC build quality and design is solid and not as you said that bad.
aki, 23 Jul 2009I dont thing this is that gr8 phone when it comes to smart phone HTC i thing is the best amoun... moreand I never face any issue with Samsung phone in terms of battery life and call signal. I use before Samsung Pixon and recently using Ultra Touch.
The only thing I face before is the Samsung Pixon camera lens getting blur out recently and I notice some user having such issue as well. (That is the reason I sold out my Pixon, hehe)
But I still love, I support Samsung, SE and LG. Sorry la, no Nokia at the moment. Nokia phone is still good in quality but Nokia like stop in technology, Nokia recent high-end phone is not impressive at all.

aki, 23 Jul 2009I dont thing this is that gr8 phone when it comes to smart phone HTC i thing is the best amoun... moreFor speed wise, at the moment, HTC is unable to beat Samsung yet.
Samsung OMNIA II is the most speedy phone I ever seen at the moment. From spec, they is another WinMo which will fastest than Samsung, TOshiba G1 and Acer F1 but both is not releasing yet.
Highest HTC WinMo phone processor is only Qualcomm ESM 7206A 528 MHz processor but Samsung OMNIA II is ARM 1176 800MHz processor with dedicated graphics accelerator.
I try it and I immediate fall in love with it. It is speedy everywhere without any lagging.
I dont thing this is that gr8 phone when it comes to smart phone HTC i thing is the best amoung all this surely i will go for HTC diamond instead of this coz i am not sure about the battery and signal of samsung phones are that good hey guys go for HTC Nokia or for Sony but dnt go for Samsung coz had i really bad experiance for the service of Omnia
I know WinMo is 65k color limit, but I not sure how Samsung made it. The Omnia II (not this yet as not yet releasing, but i believe will be same) is mention 16 million color in Samsung Singapore official site and I test before Omnia II, it really looks like 16 million color. The color is more vivid, sharp, render better than my current ultra touch.
I am too fall in love with Omnia II, will get it soon ;D
Για, 22 Jul 2009Hey spyro how do you know the whole strategy of Samsung?I dont know Samsungs strategy bacause somebody told me about this... But for a long time I'm watching Samsung's strategy and the strategy of other companies and i very often understand its next step. Also i like to search infos about this in other internet sites... All these i told about the strategy of Samsung in the branding of its smartphones will not happen surely. But for most of them i bet my head...

Thanks for making the correction about the Jet's screen, guys.
It was the i8000 that was released in Singapore last weekend (it is indeed out, lots of talk about it on Singaporean forums), and the b7320 is coming very soon. There is no news about the b7610 coming to Singapore at all, although it seems like it's going to be released in Hong Kong at least.
The b7610 seems like it'll be released in Europe first, probably in the first week or two of August. The only mobile carrier to announce they are releasing it so far is Vodaphone Netherlands.
Wasn't this and Omnia II suppose to be released in singapore last weekend ? Havn't heard anything since...
