I forgot to tell you, before buying a nokia phone ALLWAYS check what is written inside it : is should write MADE IN FINLAND, or a country name, not ANYTHING else.

My nokia e52 is working fine, i had some minor problems with it but I just had to update the software and in 15 minutes it was done. Definetly buy the nokia e52 it is way better that samsung corby. I am saying this after all my live I had only samsungs, they are great, brilliant phones, by I really like my nokia e52 now.

Does E52 have good social networking capability ? Otherwise , the phone looks and feels great. can i download twitter, fb and other social networking applications and use the effectively ?

My e52 is great as have been all my Nokias. I am sure there are people who have bad units but that doesn't mean everyone does or that the whole company sucks.

I have never had so little faith in Nokia since returning a N97Mini due to really bad reception and many dropped calls. My replacement is the E52 which has also turned out to be a disaster as again I can't get decent signal indoors. The phone as returned to Nokia for checking and came back following a "hardware" component replacement, and a software upgrade, however the software will not allow transferring my contacts to the phone memory, and are completely inaccessible. The "new improved" software has already locked up twice this afternoon. I'm very dissappointed as I always raved about Nokia. Seems a change of brand is on the cards if this is the best they can do.
Be warned not to buy this model, and if you don't believe me talk to any other E52 sufferer.

Thanks for your help. I have just bought a nokia E52. It is working fine, i really like it. I wanted to ask if somebody has any idea was "Flash Lite 3.0" is, what its good for, and do I have it on the phone or is it some sort of program for E52? Thanks again.

Have not read all the comments, but what rubber buttons and battery that heats??? Is the phone authentic or it is some cheap copy :D?
Buttons are plastic, nice to press, two soft keys and call start and end buttons are metal as far I can say.
Hanged phone once with voice commands, but restarted after removing battery.
The only issue to me so fat is back cover - it has only 2 contact points and nothing holds it on the sides so it is some fractions of millimeter lose on one side, but you can notice that only if you press on it - it comes that fraction closer to the phone.
Over all build is solid - it is metal! :D

fantastic phone. looks great, is super fast, easy to use, no-nonsense. having the accelerometer on though isn't always a good idea, especially when your seat happens to be reclined or when you're in bed. otherwise, it's a business phone at its finest.

If your phone drains battery life too fast, consider the fact that there are viruses for symbian phones (this applies to every phone and not just nokia!) especially RommWar, Cabir, and Locknut!! So, be careful!
