I'm Indonesian and I got exactly same problem with yours. My E52 always shutdown everytime I use internet connection for a while, and need about 15 minute to reboot (battery memory remove). Any one please tell us how to recovery it. I'd already bring it to Nokia Care Center, but the solution only formatted Micro SD Card. Damn.. It's not work.
Ppl....does anyone knows if this phone is available on pay monthly contract in UK??? I tried a lot but no luck....All I could see was the sim free thing.

It's almost never a good idea to rush out and buy a phone as soon as it's released, they almost always are still perfecting manufacturing and the software is always buggy. I wait at least 6 months or better yet 12 before buying a new model.
Hey everyone!
I need your help, I'm kinda stuck between buying two great phones. I just got rid of my SE Xperia and I wanted to go for a standard keypad phone. I'm thinking of either getting a Nokia E52 (from Singapore/Finland) or the Nokia N95 (still don't know where it's made from).
But for those who have used this phones already, please give me an insight on which is a better buy. Nokia E52 = $425 / Nokia N95 = $200
Thanks

I never had problems with restarting or hanging. I'm sure yours will be quickly fixed or replaced once you bring it to the care center.
i bought this phone last thursday and by today i kept it packed in its box and hoping to get it to the customer care. after buying it on thursday, it worked well till saturday evening when i was using ovi maps - it just shut itself down. And from then evryday it kept on hanging up.if i write a mail, if i use the google map, if i blutooth a business card, while using the msn, even if i stop while a video recording, it freezes..i thot perhaps its the mmc problem..so i backed up evrything from mmc to my pc and formatted it..still it hung up on me..then i removed the card and only used the internal mem..evrything went fine till today..i didn even take it with me outside..when i came back i checked my mails and then wrote a reply to my frnd and during it was sending, the mobile shut itself again..and believe me once the cell hangs or shuts itself, it takes 10-15mins to turn on(having battery removed). i am just frustrated with this phone..i judged evry aspects b4 buying this phone..but where did i go wrong? Anyone having same issues plz speak up..Nokia seriously need to look into this matter..
ps. my previous set is N70 and it was from finland..i bought it when the first N series came out and it still works like it worked all the time..only the cover is kinda bruised bt the inside works perfectly..
BUT, this E52 i bought is made from korea and i never thot i would ve to face such a mess..damnn
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2009The looks and specs made me get this(from singapore) but once switched on its awful. Backlight... moreIf you think the backlight and speaker on a phone determines a its quality then you should maybe try a more basic phone. The E52 is strictly for adults.
I agree with all who commented on the build quality of the phone. I bought this here in Egypt and it's a Korean make (not Finnish). There is an obvious light leakage from the front panel but honestly, I find it tolerable (and not that terrible), it's much better than my 5320 XM light leakage and does not squeak as the 5320 does. The speaker is in the soft side but not a deal breaker. I have also found the battery cover loose and it moves under your hands when using the phone (again not a terrible problem). All in all, the phone feels solid, polished and the metal casing is great. The Symbian OS again proves itself in the business world and I was pleased with the new features added to the OS; for instance Smart Dialing alone is worth every penny paid in the phone. I use its email and messaging capabilities (which are great btw) and download applications from the Ovi store. This is the best Nokia phone I have ever bought and I am a Nokia loyal customer since the age of the legendary 3310 handset.
To my surprise, I have also found this phone to be very less buggy than the 5320 XM that I had already got.
Nice work Nokia and you have managed to impress me again with a fine quality product.
5630 XM or 6730 Classic could be an alternative for more economic price & feature. GSMArena please make review for 6730, is it true that it has 600MHz processor??
The looks and specs made me get this(from singapore) but once switched on its awful. Backlight seems to come out of many keys and the sides.Sunlight legibility is pathetic.Loudspeaker is too too soft. Also the 600Mhz is not very noticeable.I havent yet checked out other features but these were enough to tell me i made a mistake.
8 looks so cool to me.pretty much like what i need from a phone. i love it. cant wait to have one...@.@

Got mine from a store in SM Pampanga last week for P16,500. It's a great phone, but I got to agree with the washed out screen color and backlight leaking from the edge of some keys.
aboy_pogi, 20 Aug 2009I bought mine in the Nokia Center in MOA. I got it for 18.5K... It was like 1-2 weeks ago.Thanks. I inquired at Nokia Trinoma 2 weeks ago but they still didnt have it at that time. A friend told me it costed his friend P25,000 when he bought it at SM North... It's good to hear that it's below 20K.
Overrated full-plastic garbage.
Awful build quality, pathetic camera, washed-out screen colors, backlit leaks, cheapo all-plastic construction, terrible keyboard feel and buggy software (as usual). Performance wise it has to be much faster due to 600Mhz CPU, but unfortunately this is only in theory. In practice the performance advantage is not noticeable; it feels even slower than my 434Mhz N86.
I wasted 300 Euros on this s**t.
